A fashion marketplace aiming to keep clothing in circulation longer, answering the call for a change
in the way we consume apparel.

Portland, OR, January 24, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Americans each buy an average of one item of clothing per
week, a level of consumption that is not sustainable without change.(1) In 2009, 668 billion dollars were
spent online clothing shopping in the U.S.(2) In the past year, several online thrift stores have been
launched to meet the rising demand of online shopping, including Dresm.com, which allows people to
both sell and purchase used or vintage clothing items online.

For fashion lovers, Dresm hopes to fulfill the desire to shop, while offering a more sustainable and
environmentally friendly option for buyers. Conceptualized, built and launched by four friends without
any venture capital or angel money backing, Dresm aims to change the way we discard or upgrade our
wearable goods by hosting a peer-to-peer community marketplace.

Unlike the larger community sites, Dresm is fashion specific, features a sleek user-interface that makes it
easier to use and more practical than its online thrift competitors.

Dresm not only focuses on the Women's premier market but also features clothing for youth and men.
The site makes it quick, easy and affordable to not only list your own used items for sale but also
provides a streamlined shopping experience for buyers.

“We came up with the concept for Dresm by wanting to built a web tool that benefited the environment,”
said co-founder Tyler Davis. “We all have so much unused clothing. One day after being rejected at a
consignment shop trying to re-sell some jeans, it just clicked. I totally had a light-bulb moment.”

Dresm has large plans for growth, aiming to be the primary marketplace for pre-owned fashion online.
The site is currently converting approximately 5% of the unique visitors into users. Visitors and users
have shown strong interest in the clothing listings, providing impressive time on site, page views and low
bounce rate statistics, all well above industry averages.
