The Kid‟s Place program aims to provide coping skills and support for primary school aged children whose parents are separated or divorced. It is a six week group for children; three parent sessions are also a component of the program. Topics included in the kid‟s group are: problem solving, dealing with anger and relaxation techniques. Helping men to find solutions and manage relationship breakdown including Survival Skills for separated and divorced men covering the practical issues of separation and Getting Through Separation and Divorce involves in-depth exploration of emotional issues. Youth Focus is a non-government agency providing support, education and personal development services to young people at risk (drug, alcohol, physical or sexual abuse, criminal, suicidal or self destructive behaviour). Services include: camps; support groups; counselling; a drop-in facility; parent support and many other services.
