Datatype can be of many types eg

            Java data types are of two type.
(1)Primitive or Intrinsic data type: come as a part of
the language. Java provide 8 data types which are:
byte,short,int,long,float,double,char,boolean

(2) Reference data type.
Primitive :there are four categories of
  primitive datatypes.
 (1) Numeric integral:
 (2) Fractional primitive
 (3) Character primitive
 (4)Boolean primitive

 (1)Numeric Integral :in this datatype you
 can store numeric values fall under this
 sub category.(1)byte(2)short(3)int(4)long
(2)Fractional :it can store fractional number ,
  Ex. Number having decimal point .there can
  be called floating point datatype.


(3)Character types :it can store fractional
  number ,
  Ex. Number having decimal point .there can
  be called floating point datatype.
