FIRST GAME DATE: January 27, 2012

ELIGIBILITY CLEARANCE:
          The forms must be electronically submitted either on or before the first regularly
          scheduled contest or by the 15th calendar day of the term in which the sport begins.

              If the first scheduled contest of a sport begins between terms, the eligibility form must be
              electronically submitted 15 calendar days from the date of the first contest.

NATIONAL POLL:
          Regional Directors call respective Section Directors for each of the Divisions represented
          in their Regions – these calls should all be made no later than Monday between 9:00 am –
          12:00 pm, CST, EST, MST, PST
                First Poll – March 14, 2012       -     Final Poll – April 25, 2012

NATIONAL TOURNAMENT:
          Regional Directors/coach shall send a roster and formal team photo with player in
          uniforms and visible number either the size of 5x7 or 8x10 to the National Tournament
          Director by April 24th.
          District/Regional play must be completed by May 12, 2012.

ALL AMERICANS:
         Colleges should send nominations to Regional Director. Regional Director should rank
         order nominations and forward them to the respective Divisional Chair.
         Form Due Date: Friday prior to the national tournament – May 11, 2012
         Information Required:
         • NJCAA Softball nomination form
         • Two (2) 3X5 head and shoulders shots
         • Playing statistics for all student-athletes being nominated for All-American stats must
             be up-to-date and printed from NJCAA website and included with the All-American
             nomination form.

ACADEMIC AWARDS: (refer to handbook-these nominations are now submitted online)
