1. What are the benefits of Juicing vs. eating solid raw fruits and vegetables?

Freshly squeezed fruits and vegetables are absorbed by your body faster, so you can enjoy their
benefits sooner. Juicing also saves the body energy, since it does not require digestion and
elimination through bowel movement. Also, Juices contain little or no fiber so you don't feel full
while drinking Juice.

2. When is it best to drink Juice?

I drink Juice primarily in the morning and afternoon. My Juice diet originally was based on the
“Warrior Diet” plan by Ori Hofmekler, however incorporating fruit and vegetable Juicing into
your diet will benefit you at any time throughout the day. You may choose to drink Juice as a
snack or meal replacement or as a supplement to an existing meal. Juicing is flexible and the
Juicing Benefits will make you want to incorporate it into your daily life. A word of
caution....Juices are not complete meals so ensure you're eating a well balanced diet overall.

I've recently began following the primal approach to eating and have really enjoyed this
approach. Both of these diets share some similarities however do have some major differences.

3. Can I substitute meals with Juicing?

For an intensive colon cleanse or “Juice Cleanse”, some people live off Juices exclusively but
Juices are not complete meals so you need to eat in order to give your body the nutrients and
minerals it needs.

4. Can I buy 100% natural Juices from the grocery store when I do not have time to Juice?

The categorical answer is yes but you are not getting a lot from them. Naturally extracted Juices
are much richer in minerals and nutrients, plus you will not be ingesting chemical residue if you
choose to go natural. The pasteurization process destroys many of the health benefits of drinking
Juice.

5. Can I eat the pulp?

Yes, you can eat the pulp left by Juicing as it is a good source of fiber. Pulp can be used in
baking and other recipes.

6. Which fruits and vegetables can I Juice?

Most, if not all fruits and vegetables can be Juiced. There are a myriad of health benefits
associated with Juicing fresh fruits and vegetables. Some fruits and vegetables are better for you
than others. Be careful not to Juice too many fruits since they can be high in sugar. Some of the
best Juicing ingredients are dark leafy greens, carrots, and beets.
7. Does Juice have therapeutic properties?

Some Juices have been proven to aid in recovery against certain diseases. Spinach, for instance,
has been proven to speed up recovery from heart disease. Parsley, apples, and lemons can
improve skin appearance. Most fruits and vegetables prevent disease but more research is needed
to prove their active healing properties.

8. Are Juices really healthy for the heart?

Antioxidants and heart-friendly Vitamins C and E occur naturally in fruits and vegetables.
Potassium and magnesium, which offer great benefits for heart health, are found in berries.
Drinking naturally extracted Juices is highly recommended to fight or prevent heart disease.

9. How much do Juicers cost?

You can purchase a Juice extractor at around $100 but if you want to purchase a higher quality
one, you will need to spend between $250-$300. Sounds expensive but think of all the savings
you will get when you do not have to buy expensive food supplements or pay for expensive
medical bills anymore.

10. How long can a Juicer last?

Home Juicers can last between 5 to 10 years. If you choose high quality Juicers, they can serve
your Juicing needs for more than 10 years.

11. Is a Juicer really worth the money?

Juicers can sound expensive at first, however, you need to place a higher value on your health.
An improved immune system and a better functioning body should reduce the following:
medical expenses, prescriptions, and unnecessary supplements.
