Goldman Sachs today upgraded Cornerstone OnDemand (CSOD, $31.64) to ‘Buy’
with a price target of $40, saying there is potential for top-line growth acceleration
given the company’s strong billings growth and the healthy end-market demand for
on-demand talent management solutions.

The firm downgraded NetSuite (N, $66.56) to ‘Neutral’ on valuation, but thinks the
growth story remains intact. Goldman says NetSuite is well positioned to address
the cloud ERP software mid-market over the next several years. The firm bumped
up its price target to $75 from $71, calling the current valuation fair. Earlier this
month, NetSuite shares hit a new 52-week high at $70.80.
Goldman also cut Ultimate Software (ULTI, $95.20), a provider of cloud HCM
solutions, to ‘Neutral’ on valuation; the stock is near the firm’s price target of $105.
