The Derby Informer College Football Picks Contest Rules
Official Rules. No purchase necessary. Only one valid and completed entry per contestant, per week.

You must be 18 years of age or older at time of entry to be eligible for this contest. Each week fans will pick
who they think will win each game.

Participants must fill out the entry form from the actual newspaper each week and return it no later than 5 p.m.
Friday prior to that week’s games. Participants will receive one point for each correct game selection (winning
teams only, no scores) throughout the contest. The person with the most points will be determined the winner at
the end of the contest on Dec. 2nd. Free printed forms will be available for participants to pick up each week at
The Derby Informer offices.

Winners will be notified by email. If a winner is unreachable after seven (7) days, or if that winner is unavailable
for prize fulfillment, an alternate winner will be selected. In the event of a tie, the winner will be selected by
random drawing.

Employees and family members of The Derby Informer, its affiliates, and advertising sponsors are not eligible.

Contest entrants agree to abide by the terms of these Official Rules and by the decisions of the contest
commissioners, which are final on all matters pertaining to the contest.

Entrants further grant to The Derby Informer the right to use and publish their proper name in print, or any other
media, in connection with the Contest.

The winner, by acceptance of the prize, agrees to release all Sponsors, and their parent and subsidiary
companies, their officers, directors, employees, agents, shareholders, affiliates, suppliers, distributors, and
advertising agencies from all liability, claims, or actions of any kind whatsoever for injuries, damages, or losses
to persons and property which may be sustained in connection with the receipt, ownership, or use of the prize.

If a game is canceled, forfeited, or indefinitely suspended for any reason, or if a game results in a tie, that game
shall not count for any contestant and scores will be computed as if the game did not exist.

This contest is not intended for gambling. If it is determined that a contestant is using the contest for gambling
purposes they will be disqualified and reported to authorities.

The Derby Informer and its affiliates reserve the right to change the rules at any time.

The contestant with the highest overall score will win gift certificates from local Derby restaurants. In the event
of a tie, the winner will be determined by random drawing.
