The French National Agency, Europe Education Formation France, is pleased to invite you to attend a Leonardo & Comenius Contact seminar “The discovery of the professional world: a tool for pupil’s guidance” on 12 – 16 November in Bordeaux. Theme and aims The importance of pupil guidance is recognized in all European countries but the practices differ. A good guidance is often a key factor for the success of the pupil or the trainee. Guidance covers different realities and practices at European level: assessing abilities and aptitudes of individuals, collecting and providing data which can assist the trainee in educational and vocational planning, providing counselling, providing placement guidance. The discovery of the professional world is one of the key issues to provide a guidance of quality. This contact seminar aims at bringing together representatives of secondary or vocational schools and training institutions, as well as to enable them to find partners for future projects of partnerships in the framework of Leonardo da Vinci or Comenius programmes. It will also provide the participants with an opportunity to exchange ideas, information and to share experiences.
