Asus MeMO Pad budget tablet

Asus has announced a new entry-level tablet, the Memo
Pad tablet just after CES 2013. The tablet looks a lot like the
very popular Nexus 7 but comes with an inferior
configuration compared to Google's device and will target
emerging markets.

The device runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, is powered by a
single core VIA WM8950 system-on-chip clocked at 1GHz,
comes with 1GB of RAM, 8GB of storage, a 1-megapixel
front-facing camera, a microSD card slot, Wi-Fi, 5GB of
online storage courtesy of Asus, a headphone socket, a
microUSB port plus a 7in 1,024x600 pixels resolution.
