Canada’s Robertson Bright Inc. joins Canada Nevada Business Council
Electrical contractor Robertson Bright Inc. (RBI) has become a Silver Partner of the Canada
Nevada Business Council.
Partnership in the Canada Nevada Business Council (CNBC) provides support for bilateral trade
between Canada and Nevada.
“We are glad to have Robertson Bright join us,” said Frank Spady, CEO of Canada Nevada
Business Council. “Since the company has a physical presence in Canada and Nevada, they
already are very familiar with the amount of trade Canada and the Silver State have. We’re sure
Robertson Bright and company president Wally Budgell will be able to benefit from CNBC and
help make the cross-border ties much more solid.”
73,500 jobs in Nevada depend on the Canada–Nevada trade relationship, which is valued at $1.6
billion which is a prime motivation for the Canada Nevada Business Council. With offices in
Canada and Las Vegas, RBI’s decision to become a part of the network made good business
sense for the privately held firm.
“CNBC is Canadian business and industry’s voice in Nevada. We connect political leaders and
economic developers to businesses in both places. RBI is in a strategic position to benefit from
these efforts,” Mr. Spady said. “We expect RBI and CNBC to have a very successful
RBI now gets access to select VIP briefings and special meetings organized by CNBC. The
electrical contractor will also be utilized as a “subject area expert” by the Council on matters
related to RBI’s core business.
CNBC will highlight RBI on their website and place links to RBI’s websites. RBI will also stay
informed of industry and business developments by receiving regular Council reports on Canada-
US current events.
With the central office in Mississauga, Ontario, RBI has several offices across Canada and one in
Las Vegas. Their other Canadian locations are in Calgary, Alberta; Kitchener, Ontario; and
Peterborough, Ontario. The company has been in business since 1954 and has expanded many
