Venison pate, served with Melba toast and red onion chutney
Whitebait, served with lemon mayonnaise
Mussels in a wine and cream sauce
Fish broth with coriander leaves and crusty roll
Tempura battered prawns with sweet chilli dip (£1.00) supplement
(V) Roasted red pepper risotto, with parmesan shaving and a drizzle of truffle oil

Main courses served with new potatoes. Add a dish of freshly steamed vegetables for 2 for just £1.95

French country pork casserole, cooked in cider with apples and celery
Peti Sale, a rich dish with our own cured pork ribs, cooked with lentils and winter root vegetables
Beef Flamande, A rich northern French dish of prime beef, with onions, root veg in a rich wine
Spaghetti with meatballs, baked in herb and cheese sauce
Rump steak, cooked as you like it, served with Fries and onion rings and tomatoes (£2.00)
(V) Roasted red pepper risotto, with parmesan shavings and a drizzle of truffle oil
(V) stuffed peppers, with cous cous, and Mediterranean veg
