									Design Develops Strategic Branding Materials for LocalBrand

To be or not to be BNC is the question. The competition barbecue cooking team, The Beef N' The
Chicken was struggling deciding on a brand. The judges know them as The Beef N' The Chicken, while
friends and family know them as The BNC. What should they do? After discussing the team's strategic
brand goals, the LocalBrand design team got to work!




After brainstorming and sketching out concepts we arrived at a happy medium. S2N developed a logo
specifically for The Beef N' The Chicken to be used at all cooking competitions.

We printed T-shirts and koozies with the new logo for all team members. Then, specifically for the World
Championship Barbecue Cooking Contest at the Memphis in May Festival, S2N Designed "The Pearl of
the Orient", a Philippines branded booth and T-shirt, sponsored by The Beef N' The Chicken. The T-shirt
featured The Beef N' The Chicken Logo on the back and the an alternate BNC Logo on the front.

4th Place booth design (illustrated and built by the S2N Design team): The creation of the two logos
allowed the team to find a happy medium between their friends and family and the judges of the
contest. The booth design was so eye-catching that it was even featured on TV!
