protection from government tyranny.

Will the second amendment protect us and give us full gun rights, or
will we have complete gun control?
We are all now very aware of how our politicians are pushing for gun control because of the most
recent shootings in our schools, theaters and some job sites. Just how far are they willing to go in
removing firearms from our daily lives? Is it necessary to totally abolish the 2nd amendment…or
just restructure it?
Isn’t the second amendment a provision installed by our forefathers to ultimately protect us from
tyranny of the government? As well as personal protection from burglary and home break-ins.
What is the cause for all this violence? Isn’t it the person behind the weapon that actually fires the
gun? Isn’t it the person behind the wheel of the car that actually crashes the vehicle? Aren’t there
more deaths by vehicles than personal murders in the United States? So maybe they should
consider taking away our vehicles also? Somehow, their reasoning for gun control needs to have a
closer look on how to prevent it.
I have a friend who is a social worker and spends his day between three hospitals in the Seattle
area. His patients are drug addicts, suicide cases, homeless people and the like. He says that these
people all have some level of mental disorders that need to be treated, but the funds necessary to
treat them are just not available. Treat the person behind the gun and you can minimize these
horrible assaults. The gun doesn’t shoot itself, it’s the person behind the gun.
Today, police are so overwhelmed with extreme violent cases. and home burglaries are secondary
on their call list. What happens when a burglar has a weapon, and you don’t? How are you
supposed to protect your family?
Wit hout guns, won’t it be impossible t o prot ect ourselves f rom t yranny of our government
if t he second amendment is abolished, or changed dramat ically?
Our second amendment is there for a reason. Tyranny of our government has happened before,
and will happen again if we continue on the path we are going. Watch this short video and see for
yourself, it has happened before.
History cannot repeat itself … this is one example of why the 2nd amendment must be maintained
for the life of this country … watch our crooked cronies try to undermine exactly what the
forefathers put in place. This video is a perfect example.

The way the political corruption is going, this may happen again, but in a much larger scale….
Looking back in history, there is a reason to preserve the 2nd amendment.

I was completely unaware of this event that took place in Athens , TN in 1946. I did not know an
armed revolt by WWII veterans ever took place during our lifetime. It’s a very sobering video to say
the least. Now it makes the Second Amendment have a little more meaning. Be sure to see the
actual photos at the end showing the historical markers describing the event. This kind of situation
could well happen again in today’s America.
