Muscle pain can lead to heart disease Although most people think that back pain or muscle pain is not too dangerous, but it could be a symptom of a more serious disease, the Peripheral Artery Disease (PAD), and even heart disease. Most people who experience this, are fooled because it the pain could easily be gone only by resting, according to the Society for Vascular Surgery. Muscles need blood with lots of oxygen to work, then plaques that form in the arteries will decrease blood flow. If this continues, it is not impossible patients will develop heart disease. PAD is usually caused by several factors such as age, diabetes, smoking, being overweight, high blood pressure, heart disease, high cholesterol, and descendants, this is as reported by the Third Age. However, if the PAD is quickly recognized and treated promptly, most likely PAD can be cured through lifestyle changes and medications. That way, cardiac disease associated with PAD can be prevented. For that reason, if you are experiencing pain in the joints and have PAD symptoms, immediately consult a doctor. Thus the possibility of PAD turning into heart disease will be less.
