7 Easy ways to increase your metabolism

Whatever you eat and drink, the body’s metabolism is responsible for
changing stretcher calories into energy. Metabolic processes may change
with age and weight gain. Here are some ways to make the metabolism
system work optimally, as reported by the Third Age.

1. Green tea
A study in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition shows that
consuming green tea can help increase metabolism.

2. Sleep
Lack of sleep is often associated with a slow metabolism system and
accelerate weight gain. After four days of no sleep, abdominal fat cells
indicate a lack of insulin. This could be related to diabetes and
obesity.

3. Breakfast
Eating every morning will keep you from feeling hungry during the day. in
addition, the breakfast also increases metabolism. When you skip
breakfast, you’re actually fasting for 15-20 hours, so you do not produce
enough enzymes for metabolism.

4. Exercise
Exercise increases your metabolism by seven percent. It makes you burn
more fat even when sitting, according to a research at Tufts University.
Try to exercise for 30 minutes three times a week.

5. Drinking Water
A German study published in the Journal of Clinical Endocrinology and
Metabolism showed that participants who drank more than two glasses of
water each day had a more active metabolism than other participants.

6. Spicy food
Add spices and spicy foods. Chili has a thermogenic agent that is able to
heat up the body and increase calorie burning. In addition, ginger can
also help tissue cells to process more oxygen. This will make your
metabolism more active and reduce excessive fat.

7. Bicycle
A study showed that performing a 45-minute bike ride increase metabolism
for 12 hours. According to researchers, it does not matter what type of
bike you use.
