Adventure Expedition Catalogue 2013
Zambia: “Let’s Explore”
Zambia and Botswana: “Complete Kafue”
Zambia and Botswana: “Western Route”
Description of the “Adventure
Expedition” formula
Leave everyday’s chaos and frantic living behind and immerse completely in the untamed Southern Africa:
the wild beauty of Zambia’s National parks, the rhythm and excitement of tribal dances and cultural festivals
proclaimed “wo” by UNESCO and the exclusive emotions of mysterious Botswana.
Our Adventure Expeditions bring together the breathtaking beauty of the most untamed National Parks of all
Africa, the direct contact with nature during camping nights, the exclusive sensations of the evenings around
the fire, the comfort of luxurious camping, the easy-living of small local guesthouses and the experience of
real ethnic encounters, all at an affordable cost.
The Adventure Expedition is never rushed or too packed with activities, this way participants will have the
proper amount of time to completely appreciate the best Africa can offer: nature, animals, perfumes,
people, colors, emotions, culture. Slowly tasting each sensation and allowing them to sink deep beneath
your skin you can form memories that will remain vivid in you for the years to come.
Every detail of the Adventure Expedition is carefully planned to avoid any issue or problem. However,
traveling in the wildest areas of places such as Zambia and Botswana always involves the risk that
something might not go as planned. For this reason participants will have to bring along their sense of
adventure and adaptation, as unforeseen events might call for some alterations to the itinerary to face the
real conditions found along the way.
Transfers and game drives are done of robust 4x4 vehicles; depending on the number of participants, we
will use:
2-4 pax: 1 Toyota Hilux
5-6 pax: 1 8-seats Toyota Landcruiser
7-8 pax: 2 Toyota Hilux
9-14 pax: 2 Toyota Hilux + 1 Toyota Land Cruiser
Our Camping tents are very spacious and tall, the mattresses are thick and comfortable, camp sites are
equipped with toilets and hot showers, food is prepared on the camp fire; all this and more contribute to
deliver the right level of comfort to maximize your experience.
In the main cities, accommodation will be in simple but carefully selected guesthouses, usually away from
the more trafficked areas.
Guides and drivers are Zambian residents to provide the best knowledge of the roads and places.
African View Tours and Safaris provides all camping equipment including tents, mattresses, chairs, camp
kitchen tools, etc., soft drinks during the transfers and all meals when camping: meals are coke around the
campfire or pace-lunches are prepared when traveling in remote areas. Participants are free to choose
independently where they want to have their meals in the main cities.
Vehicles, guides, accommodation (both camping and in guesthouses), game drives inside the National
Parks, fuel and meals when camping are all included in the rates.
Extras are Park Entry Fees (to be paid on site depending on the actual stay in the park), meals in the main
cities, alcoholic beverages and personal expenses (such as telephone, internet, curios, etc.)
