Installation of Monitoring Equipment in Hanover Square
The Crossrail tunnel boring machines, Phyllis and Ada, are advancing                                  Duration of work
from Royal Oak to Farringdon and are due to pass under Hanover
Square in spring 2013.                                                                                    Work starts Sunday

As part of these tunnelling works it is necessary to install monitoring
equipment to the external facades of buildings around Hanover Square                                      Preliminary work in St

About Crossrail
Crossrail is the new high frequency, convenient and
accessible railway for London and the South East.

When the service opens Crossrail trains will travel
from Maidenhead and Heathrow in the west to
Shenfield and Abbey Wood in the east via new twin
tunnels under central London. It will link Heathrow
Airport, the West End, the City of London and Canary
Wharf.
