For over 25 years, Holy Redeemer Church of God in Christ has served as an
important part of the Wisconsin religious community. From its headquarters in
Milwaukee, it has spearheaded numerous initiatives, including a credit union, a
worship center, education facilities, and a conference center. To further aid people,
the church runs a free health clinic for uninsured residents of Milwaukee County
living below 200 percent of the federal poverty level.

Utilizing Christian values, the C. H. Mason Health Clinic seeks to improve patients’
spiritual and physical conditions. It offers blood pressure testing and first aid
services while conducting community outreach programs that teach people about
taking care of themselves. Active in the local school system’s health respondent
program, the clinic also performs hypertension and diabetes checks.

About the Author: Since 1986, Sedgwick Daniels has acted as the Pastor at Holy
