Dear Kentucky Adult Education:

A Treasure's Trove, an enchanting, classic fairy tale, written and brilliantly illustrated by
Michael Stadther, was first published in November, 2004, after which it rapidly climbed onto the
nation's bestseller lists, where it has remained for months. Cleverly hidden in the book's pages
are clues to finding 12 tokens, redeemable for 12 one-of-a kind jewels, with a combined value of
over $1 million. The jewels are based on the 12 crystallized forest creatures featured in this
captivating tale.

For those planning to attend the Kentucky Adult Education Annual Conference, “A
TREASURE'S TROVE SESSIONS” (pre-conference session and regular), we will have a
limited number of books available for purchase onsite. Or, you can purchase your own copy at
your local bookstore. Note: Barnes and Noble bookstore provides a 20% educator discount for
books purchased by educators to use in the classroom. If you purchase the book at the
conference, it will be $20.00.

AGAIN WE WILL HAVE A LIMITED NUMBER OF BOOKS AT THE KYAE ANNUAL
CONFERENCE WITH SOME OF THE PROCEEDS FROM THE SALES GOING TO
KAACE. Please let Dian Kelley know if you would like to purchase a copy of the book at the
conference by contacting her either by phone or email at 270-769-8866 work; 270-304-4893 cell;
or dkelley@hardin.k12.ky.us.

Michael Stadther will perform a reading and book signing at Barnes and Noble, Elizabethtown
on Friday, September 16 at 6:30 pm. He and the JEWELS, valued at one million dollars, will be
at the Speed Art Museum Saturday, September 17 at 2 pm and Sunday, September 18 at 2 pm.
Extra will be filming on Saturday, September 17, because Mr. Stadther will be providing
treasure hunters with a new clue. For those planning to arrive at the conference on Sunday
afternoon, don’t forget to make a stop at the Speed Art Museum to see the jewels! They are
truly stunning!
