A.CHASE PERDANA BERHAD.

1.        Claim in Kuala Lumpur High Court Civil Suit No. 52-22-39-2000 between CPB –v-
          Superior Communications (M) Sdn Bhd for the sum of RM2,059,625.80 based on
          dishonored cheques. Claim filed on 20 January 2000. The Writ and Statement of Claim
          has been served on the Defendant. Judgment was obtained in 3/3/2000 against the
          Defendant. Subsequently, a claim was filed in Kuala Lumpur High Court Companies
          (Winding-Up) No. D3-28-594-2000.           [Messrs Manmohan Kuna & Associates]

2.        Claim in Kuala Lumpur High Court Companies (Winding-Up) Petition No. D3-28-594-
          2000 between CPB (Petitioner) & Superior Communications Sdn Bhd (Respondent)
          for the winding-up of the Respondent in relation to the Judgment obtained on 3/3/2000
          for the sum of RM 2,059,625.80. Hearing of winding-up petition fixed on 23/11/2000
          was postponed to 14/2/2001 as the Judge was on MC.A search with Official Receiver’s
          office has confirmed that the Respondent was wound-up on 14/7/2000 vide Petition No

3.        Claim in Kuala Lumpur Sessions Court Summons No. 52-7463-98 by CPB –v- S&P
          Food Industries (M) Berhad for the sum of RM60,262.50 being rental in arrears
          pursuant to the tenancies of three floors of Menara Safuan granted to them. CPB has
          obtained a distress order. S & P Food Industries (M) Berhad has applied to set aside the
          order and Segment Capital Sdn Bhd the tenant has applied as intervener. Auction of the
          office equipment proceeded. CPB is waiting for auction proceeds of RM19,300,

4.        Claim in Kuala Lumpur High Court Suit No. S1-22-142-98 by CPB –v- S&P Food
          Industries (M) Berhad for the sum of RM10,608,000.00 being the amount owing as a
          result of an advance made to S&P Food Industries (M) Berhad. Claim filed on 5 March
          1998. The Court has directed that the case is to be transferred to the commercial division
          and the matter is pending a trial date to be set by Court. [Messrs Skrine & Co]

5.        Claim in Kota Kinabalu High Court Suit No. K22-126-98 by CPB –v- Afendi Bin
          Hamdan for the sum of RM1,000,000.00 being a claim for refund of a deposit paid
          pursuant to a Letter of Undertaking dated 26 June 1997. Claim filed on 27 May 1998. A
          stay of execution has been ordered as the Defendant has filed an to appeal against the
          Deputy Registrar’s decision in granting Summary Judgment and striking out the
          Defendant’ counterclaim. The Court is yet to fix a date for the Hearing of the appeal.

6.        Claim in Kuala Lumpur High Court Suit No. 22-71-90 by CPB –v- Perbadanan
          Memajukan Iktisad Negeri Terengganu for RM103,526.91 being a claim for the
          balance payable under a construction contract dated 10 August 1982. Filed claim in 1990.

          The parties successfully negotiated for an out of court settlement and suit withdrawn on

7.        Claim in Kuala Lumpur High Court Suit No. D3-22-439-98 by HDM Venture Capital
          Sdn Bhd –v- CPB for the sum of RM6,621,456.78 alleged owing under a Loan
          Agreement dated 30 July 1997. Claim made on 4 March 1998. CPB has filed in a
          Summons in Chambers to strike out the Writ of Summons and Statement of Claim. CPB
          is waiting for the decision of the appeal against the dismissal of application to strike out

8.        In connection with the above, claim in Kuala Lumpur High Court Suit No. D6-22-410-98
          by CPB –v- HDM Venture Capital Sdn Bhd for an enquiry as to the damages suffered

9.        Claim in Kuala Lumpur High Court Suit No. D2-22-659-98 by Mechmar Capital Sdn
          Bhd –v- CPB for the sum of RM5,068,377.03 being claims under a call and put option
          dated 23 July 1997. Claim made on 18 March 1998. CPB has filed a Summons in
          Chambers to strike out the Writ of Summons and Statement of Claim. The appeal against
          the dismissal of the Summons in Chambers has been dismissed on 1 April 1999. Plaintiff
          filed a Summons in Chambers for Summary Judgment which was subsequently
          dismissed. Plaintiff filed a Notice of Appeal which was part heard and fixed for continued
          Hearing on 2/5/2001 for submission by 2nd Defendant and for the Plaintiff’s reply.

10.       In connection with the above, claim in Kuala Lumpur High Court Suit No. D2-22-655-98
          by CPB –v- Mechmar Capital Sdn Bhd for a declaration that CPB is not liable to the
          Plaintiff and the Plaintiff is not entitled to claim against CPB under the Agreement. Claim
          filed on 8 June 1998.CPB has filed a Summons for Directions and the Defendant has filed
          an application for a Stay of Proceedings. The Court has directed that the matter is fixed
          for mention on 4 May 2001 pending the outcome of the Appeal under Item 9.

11.       Claim in Georgetown Session Court Summons No. 52-639-98 by AB Project
          Management Sdn Bhd –v- CPB for the sum of RM180,000.00 being alleged
          professional service fee as consultants for Fettes Project, Penang. Claim filed on 5 March
          1998. S&P Food Industries has been included as 2nd Defendant. Matter fixed for full Trial
          on 5 February 2001 and the Plaintiff has presented its case. Matter is fixed for continued
          trial on 5 April 2001 for the Defendant to open their case.

12.       Claim in Johor Bahru High Court Originating Summons No. 24-1927-98 by Ong Chng
          Lai –v- CPB for a declaration and an order that the Defendant pay the Plaintiff a sum of
          RM216,894.50 being refund of deposit and a further sum of RM 216,894.50 being agreed
          liquidated damages and the sum of RM11,500.00 being refund of legal fees paid together
          with interest thereon. Claim filed on 12 October 1998. The Defendant has a counterclaim
          for specific performance of the sale and purchase agreement and damages. Matter fixed
          for continued hearing on 15th and 16th March 2001.

13.       Claim in Kuala Lumpur High Court Suit No. S5-22-740-98 by Renofac Builder (M) Sdn
          Bhd –v- CPB for the sum of RM1,125,385.00 being claim by subcontractor for balance
          payable under a construction contract. Claim filed on 18 November 1998. Plaintiff’s
          application for Summary Judgment was dismissed and the Plaintiff’s have filed an appeal

14.       Claim in Shah Alam High Court Suit No. MTI-22-99-98 by Amsteel Securities (M) Sdn
          Bhd –v- CPB for the sum of RM16,159,526,79, being a claim under a Call & Put Option
          dated 11 April 1997. Claim filed on 27 January 1998. The Plaintiff application for
          Summary Judgment which was fixed for Hearing on 14 February 2001 was adjourned to
          19 March 2001 as the Senior Assistant Registrar was unable to hear cases on that day.

15.       Claim in Kuala Lumpur High Court Suit No.S1-22-820-98 Chubb Malaysia Sdn Bhd –
          v- Navistar Sdn Bhd & CPB for the sum of RM314,232.95 with interest thereon being
          claim by subcontractor for balance payable under a construction contract. Claim filed on
          18 December 1998. CPB has filed Defence and is to be set down for trail.

16.       Claim in Kuala Lumpur Sessions Court Summons No. 5-52-21433-98 by CCL
          (Cyclecarri) Properties –v- CPB for the sum of RM154,231.68 together with interest
          thereon and future rentals for the unexpired tenancy to be assessed for the early
          termination of the Tenancy Agreement dated 15 December 1997.Claim filed on 2
          November 1998. Plaintiff’s Summary Judgment application has not been fixed for

17.       Claim in Kuala Lumpur Sessions Court Summons No. 52-505-98 by Menara Safuan
          Sdn Bhd & Menara Safuan Management Services Sdn Bhd –v- CPB for the sum or
          RM233,796.03 being alleged service charges unpaid in respect of the premises at Menara
          Safuan. Claim filed on 14 January 1998. The Court on 14 February 2001 allowed the
          Plaintiff’s application to amend the Statement of Claim and as such our application to
          strike out the Statement of Claim was withdrawn. The matter is now fixed for summary
          judgment application on 23 March 2001.

18.       Claim in Kuala Terengganu Sessions Court Summons No. 52-34-96 by Babena Sdn Bhd
          –v- CPB for RM60,000.00 being an alleged claim by a subcontractor for the balance
          payable under a construction contract. Claim filed on 19 January 1998. Consent judgment
          recorded on 22 February 2000. Matter fully settled as all agreed installment payments

19.       Claim in Kuala Lumpur Sessions Court Summons No. 52-10432-98 by Supermix
          Concrete Sdn Bhd –v- CPB for RM156,000.00 being a claim for goods sold and

20.       Claim in KL Sessions Court Summons NO. 52-9007-98 by Tennis Court Builders Sdn
          Bhd –v- CPB for the sum of RM43,000.00 being and alleged claim by subcontractor for
          the balance payable under a construction contract. Claim made on 29 May 1998. Plaintiff
          has amended statement of claim. Court has fixed trial on 27 November 2000. Court was
          informed that the parties were agreeable to settle. Next mention date fixed for 29 March

21.       Claim in KL Magistrates Court Summons No. 73-36193-98 by Boral Concrete (M) Sdn

          pending settlement. Payment made and waiting for withdrawal.

23.       Claim in Seremban Sessions Court Summons No. 52-223-99 by Prestasi Kreatif Sdn

25.       Claim in KL Sessions Court Summons No. 52-1718-99 by EMI Sdn Bhd –v- CPB for
          the sum of RM84,092.40 being an alleged claim by subcontractor for the balance payable
          under a construction contract. Claim filed on 4 February 1999. CPB’s Defence filed.
          Plaintiff’s application for summary judgment fixed on 22 November 2000 whereby

          Pending withdrawal of the suit by petitioner pursuant to Debt Restructuring Agreement

          12 November 1999. Order for injunction obtained on 23 Nov 1999. Plaintiff’s application
          for stay of execution of the High Court order dated 27 June 2000 is fixed for hearing on
          22 February 2001. Our appeal to Court of Appeal is pending the allocation of a hearing

          1999. Matter is now fixed for full Trial on 23 to 26 July 2001 and 1st August to 2nd

          No. D1-22-779-2000 for letter of undertaking for RM10,241,676.73 which was not
          honored by the Bank for letter of award dated 19 October 1994 for project known as
          Banang Heights. Defence filed on 16 June 2000. Claimed filed on 28 April 2000. Pending

40.       Claim by CPB –v- Bank Muamalat Bhd & Sri Mutiara Sdn Bhd for
          RM10,241,676.73 vide Kuala Lumpur High Court Summons No. D4-22-422-2000 for
          unpaid claim for a project done by Chase Perdana Berhad known as Banang Heights by
          letter of award dated 19 October 1994. Claim filed on 7/3/2000. Hearing of our
          preliminary objections is fixed on 26 February 2001 and subsequently to hear 2nd
          Defendant’s application to set aside the Judgment in default obtained on 31 March 2000.

41.       Claim by Lien Hoe Corporation Berhad –v- CPB vide Kuala Lumpur High Court Suit
          No. D3-22-1091-2000 pursuant to a settlement agreement dated 6/1/99. Filed the claim of
          filed for RM6,925,000.00 for the payment of Sale and Purchase of Shares. Claim filed on
          14 June 2000. Defence has been filed. Consolidation request approved by Court. Pending

42.       Claim by CPB –v- Pekeliling Triangle Sdn Bhd & 2 Others vide Kuala
          Lumpur High Court Suit No. S5-22-408-2000 for an injunction inter alia:-
          (i)    against 3rd Defendant from entering the Project site without the consent of the
                 Plaintiff,
          (ii)   against 1st and 2nd Defendant from acting on their conspiracy to injure the
                 legitimate interest of the Plaintiff,
          (iii)  against 2nd Defendant to issue the Certificate of Practical Completion,
          (iv)   damages against 1st and 2nd Defendant for conspiracy to injure, and
          (v)    damages against 3rd Defendant for trespass.
          Claim filed 16 June 2000. The judge will deliver his decision on 20 April 2001.

43.       Claim by Perangsang Dagang Sdn Bhd –v- Chew Piau- Trinas Joint Venture &
          Another vide Kuala Lumpur Sessions Court Summons No 6-52-2813-97 for
          RM87,039.67 being the debt due for goods sold and delivered. Matter fixed for full trial

          for hearing of the summary judgment application on 16 March 2001.

46.       Claim by Te Kim Leng –v- Chase Perdana Berhad vide Kuala Lumpur High Court
          Originating Summons No D8-24-42-2000 filed and served on 30 January 2001 whereby
          the Plaintiff is seeking specific performance of an Allotment Contract in which CPB is to
          issue 30,000 new ordinary shares with 30,000 warrants and that CPB is to register the
          shares with warrants in Plaintiff’s name or in the alternative damages in lieu of specific
          performance, interests and costs. Pending filing of affidavit in reply.

          Being alleged claim by purchasers for a refund of deposit paid for the purchase of
          property. Claim filed on 20/6/2000. Instructed lawyers to file Memorandum of

          for a refund of deposit paid for the purchase of property. Claim filed on 12 April 2000.

5.        Claim in KL Sessions Court Summons No. 4-52-883-99 by Lee Guit Eng & Cheah
          Ngat Yuen –v- Pancar Generasi Sdn Bhd for RM41,550.00 being an alleged claim by
          purchasers for a refund of deposit paid for the purchase of property. Claim filed on 15
          January 1999. Defence filed. Plaintiff’s application for summary judgment was allowed
          with costs. Parties have agreed to settle the matter by way of monthly installment
