Dear EE1 and CPE1 Students,
Kindly take note of the following important announcement regarding module
registration:
1. Registration in CORS
The various dates and activities for each bidding round are stated in the CORS
website http://www.cors.nus.edu.sg. Round 0 will commence on 2 Jan 08 (Wed) at 9
am.
You should check for your individual ‘Group Allocation’ at
http://www.eng.nus.edu.sg/ugrad/documents/AY0708-SEM2/group_listings.pdf first
and refer to the Class Timetable schedule at the Office of Undergraduate Programs
(OUP) website http://www.eng.nus.edu.sg/ugrad/schedule0708-Sem2.htm before
bidding in CORS.

NOTE 1: The Office of Undergraduate Programs (OUP) will pre-allocate MA1506,
MLE1101, PC1432 (for EE1 students only) and EG1471 / EG1413 to you.
CS1102C and CS1231 (for CPE1 students only) will be preallocated by ECE
Dept if you have fulfilled the pre-requisites. 1 bid point will be deducted from
your Program account for each pre-allocated module.
NOTE 2: If you wish to retake MA1505, EG1108 or CS1101C, kindly complete the e-
form at https://team.nus.edu.sg/eng/announcements/eng_reg.htm by 4 Jan
2008 or check with OUP’s Mr Jason Goh (enggyh@nus.edu.sg). Please
check their timetable at http://www.eng.nus.edu.sg/ugrad/timetable.html
NOTE 3: Students have to bid for other modules via CORS on their own if they wish
to fulfill ULR or UEM requirements.
NOTE 4: The maximum workload is a total of 25 MCs in Sem2 AY0708. If you want to
exceed your workload beyond 25 MCs, please email the following info to
your Year 1 Coordinator A/Prof Cheong Loong Fah (eleclf@nus.edu.sg):
(i) Total MCs planning to take in semester 2
(ii) supporting reasons for taking more than 25 MCs in semester 2
(iii) Sem 2 workplan (module code, title and its respective MCs)
(iv) Sem1 results and CAP
(v) personal details (full name, matric no, course code)
3. Tutorial and Lab Groups Registration
Tutorial and Lab timeslots for MA1506, MLE1101 and PC1432 (for EE1) will be pre-
allocated. Please check for the allocated slots in CORS after 16 Jan 08. However,
students have to register for the CS1102C and CS1231 tutorial and CS1102C lab
group via CORS http://www.cors.nus.edu.sg from 18 Jan to 23 Jan 2008.
Please contact Mr Jason Goh (enggyh@nus.edu.sg) if you have queries on the tutorial
and lab group registration for MA1506, MLE1101, PC1432 and EG1471/EG1413. For
enquiries on CS1102C and CS1231, please check with Ms Elyn Yip
(eleylye@nus.edu.sg).
4. University Level Requirement (ULR) modules
Students who wish to take GEMs and/or ULR Breadth modules have to ensure that the
timetables of these modules do NOT clash with the class (lecture, tutorial & lab) and
examination timetables of their essential modules. Please refer to the list of serviced
ULR modules to Engineering students at http://www.eng.nus.edu.sg/ugrad/ulr.html

NUSNET email accounts regularly for updates on module and tutorial registrations for
the coming semester.
