     Warm Hospitality
     Meals, Service and Entertainment
We serve up delicious English cooking and the crew make passenger safety, attentive
service and warm hospitality their highest priorities.
Traditional Cooking: Breakfast includes a range of juices, cereals and fruit from the
buffet counter, toast, jams and marmalade and a cooked dish on most days. Lunch is
normally two set courses such as a Ploughman’s lunch with a Raspberry Fool, or Jacket
Potatoes with a selection of toppings followed by an Ice Cream Sundae. Dinner is a set
four-course meal. Start with a home-made Soup or perhaps Smoked Mackerel Pate, and
move onto a main course of slow-braised pork with cider and crème fraiche or Poached
Hake with lemon butter sauce. This is followed by a home made dessert such as fruit
crumble or cheese cake and then we offer a cheese board and freshly-brewed tea or
coffee. Vegetarian options are always available and we can also cater for special needs
     with advance warning.
Selection of Drinks: The bar carries a variety of soft drinks, beers, wines and spirits.
These drinks are charged on a cash basis daily. We also offer complimentary self-serve
tea, coffee and chilled drinking water.
Attentive service: Besides providing mealtime and cabin services, the crew also porter
your baggage; tell you about the local sights, ‘shepherd’ you onto guided tours and help
the less mobile to get around.
                                                                                                Breakfast
Great Entertainment: Live music is staged after dinner on one evening during your
holiday. You may also like to join a game of Deck Quoits in the daytime or a table quiz Bar Service
