It's Important To Know the IRS Refund Schedule Everyone has to be on their feet and should be very vigilant about what is happening around especially when people talk about scams and scams that happen around the IRS most especially on the IRS refund schedule is getting very rampant right now. Even the IRS admits that they have overlooked one thing and that's paying out huge amounts of IRS refund to bogus transactions or to fake recipients. This can only happen if a person is not aware of his own schedule for his IRS refund. There has been a lot of news lately that involves bogus transactions or scams that are happening in the IRS. Just a few years ago, the IRS has send out news advisory to the taxpayers that there is a kind of phishing site online that sends out messages to taxpayers and tells them about their IRS refund schedule. This message may seem friendly and not so threatening until the recipient of such e-mail message clicks on a link provided by the sender which is, the fact is, not the official e-mail address of the IRS or the link goes directly to the official website of the IRS. The message supposedly gives out advice to taxpayer that their tax refund schedule delayed is due in a short period of time and they should provide the IRS with the necessary personal and financial information. To do this, the scammer who created the bogus website and the fake e- mail address provides a link included in the e-mail message and sort of forces the taxpayer to click on the link so he will be redirected to the “official website” of the IRS. Once the recipient clicks on the link and gets redirected, he will be advised to disclose his personal and financial information especially his social security number, his credit card numbers and even his bank account numbers. Once these scammers got a hold of this valuable information, they can use it to make fake ATM cards and credit cards and use it to purchase items. Before he knows it, the recipient's bill will reflect transactions that are not his and will be surprised to see that he has an outstanding balance higher than Cloud Nine. That is why, it is very important for a person to know his own IRS refund schedule. If he receives a message like this, the best thing he can do is to contact the IRS by phone and ask about that message if it really came from them or not.
