Dear Prospective Yearbook Committee Member,

It is hard to believe that this year is almost over! Yearbooks are getting ready to be
passed out and you are on your way to being a 7th or 8th grader. It is all very exciting. In
order to make our yearbook the best that it can be, it is time for us to start selecting a
yearbook staff for the 2010-2011 school year. This will help us be ahead of the game. The
yearbook staff comes together for a common purpose: to create the best yearbook ever!!! It
takes a lot of planning and preparation to produce a fun yearbook that is full of creative
ideas. To that end, there are a few rules and regulations that yearbook staff must follow in
order to maintain an effective and efficient staff.

Yearbook Staff Members MUST:
   1. Be respectful to all members and advisors.
   2. Be receptive to new ideas.
   3. Be on time to ALL yearbook meetings.
   4. Be prepared to work for the full time allotted.
   5. Be reminded of ALL Fort Mill Middle School policies and practices.

If a member chooses not to follow the aforementioned rules they will:
     1. Be given a warning (depending on the severity of the offense).
     2. Be asked to refrain from attending 2 consecutive meetings.
     3. Be asked to refrain from further participation on the yearbook staff.
     4. Any yearbook staff member that has 2 unexcused absences from yearbook
meetings will automatically be removed from the yearbook staff.

                                                                            Sincerely,

                                                                             Mrs. A. Geddis
                                                                             Mrs. S. Munn
