2012 is set to be our most exciting year yet as LEGOLAND Windsor becomes a
destination resort with the opening of the 150 room LEGO® themed hotel and
LEGO® Star Wars™ Miniland Experience. Children aged 2-12 can take to the
road, soar through the skies and sail the seas in complete safety. With over 55
interactive rides, attractions, live shows, building workshops and driving schools,
not to mention around 55 million LEGO bricks, all set within 150 acres of
beautiful parkland, a visit to the LEGOLAND Windsor Resort promises to be an
unforgettable adventure.

The LEGOLAND Windsor Resort opened in 1996 and is located on the former
site of the Windsor Safari Park.

By Road: Situated on the B3022 Windsor/Ascot road, the LEGOLAND Windsor
Resort is clearly signposted from Junction 3 of the M3, Junction 6 of the M4 and
Junction 13 of the M25.
By Rail: Shuttle bus services operate from both Windsor & Eton Riverside station
and Windsor Central station. Money-saving rail travel and admission combination
tickets are available from most Southwest Trains stations.
By Eurostar: With services from Paris, Brussels, Amsterdam, Cologne, Lille and
Calais, Eurostar offers good connections to Windsor via St. Pancras.
By Air: London Heathrow airport is just 12 miles away via the M4. Gatwick airport
is 45 miles away via the M25 - about an hour's drive, depending on traffic levels
and the time of day.

Opening Times
The LEGOLAND Windsor Resort is open from Friday 16 March to until Monday 5
November 2012.

During peak season the park is open seven days a week from 10am to 6pm and
7pm in the summer holidays. During off peak dates the park is open from 10am to
5pm and closed on the following midweek days:

Annual Passes
Annual Passes are designed to give you great value for money and are cheaper
than visiting twice. Prices start from £67.20 for a LEGOLAND Premium Annual
Pass and offer a host of fantastic benefits. Annual Pass holders can obtain up to
10% off inside the park’s shops and 20% in the restaurants; entry to the Resort
Park with no exclusion dates and exclusive Annual Pass collector bricks. New for
2012, Annual Passholders will also be able to claim an exclusive discount for
bookings at the LEGOLAND Windsor Resort Hotel.
Guests can also upgrade their day ticket to a LEGOLAND Premium Annual Pass
from just £40.80.

Merlin Annual Pass
The Merlin Annual Pass offers the ultimate attraction experience as holders are
able to gain entry to all 29 Merlin attractions in the UK for 12 months. Attractions
include the LEGOLAND Windsor Resort, Chessington World of Adventures Resort,
THORPE PARK, Alton Towers Resort Theme Park, Madame Tussauds London and
Blackpool, EDF Energy London Eye, SEA LIFE London Aquarium, The Dungeons,
SEA LIFE Centres, Warwick Castle and Seal Sanctuaries. In September 2011, The
Blackpool Tower attractions were added to the pass, offering an even more
diverse mix of attractions. There are two types of passes available and prices

Discounts & Promotions
Online ticket offers are available via to guests who are
able to be flexible with the day of their visit and size of their group. On many
dates throughout the season LEGOLAND tickets can have considerable online
discounts. Alternatively guests receive a discount on day tickets if purchased
online using the Print@Home booking system prior to their visit. Promotional
offers also run throughout the year with numerous promotional partners.

LEGOLAND Hotel & Holidays
Families can turn their visit into an unforgettable adventure by booking a short
break with LEGOLAND Holidays. Exclusive offers can be found throughout the

at the unique LEGOLAND Hotel overlooking the Resort or at one of over 25 local,
family-friendly hotels located nearby. Alternatively families can opt to stay in
exclusive self catering apartments for up to eight people, offering great value for

The LEGOLAND Windsor Resort is home to the biggest selection of LEGO
products in the UK and for 2012 has launched the new LEGO® Star Wars™ Store.
The LEGO Big Shop, our largest retail outlet, is jam-packed with all the latest
‘must have’ LEGO ranges, games and clothing. Additional shops include Cuddles
Corner, full of cuddly animals but also the only store where you can personalise
gifts. Why not have your name engraved on a LEGO brick lunchbox or keychain?
Cool young trend-setters can check out the LEGO clothing line alongside Animal

The Last Chance Marketplace, situated above the LEGO Star Wars Store is where
you can find discontinued LEGO products and some great bargains.

There are 16 restaurants and cafés in the park with a joint seating capacity of
almost 2000 people in one sitting. New this season is the arrival of The Original
Sandwich Company and the LEGOLAND Hotel which is also open to non-
residents for lunch time sittings (advance booking required). There is also a
range of food stands, ice cream kiosks and various catering carts to
accommodate many different tastes and styles of food. The LEGOLAND Windsor
Resort is committed to providing guests with a choice during their visit and
caters for guests with special dietary requirements offering wheat-free and

Services Accessibility: The LEGOLAND Windsor Resort has been designed with
the needs of guests with disabilities firmly in mind – the park is 95% accessible
to wheelchair users and has won Best Disabled Facility Venue in the Group
Leisure Awards. Wheelchair hire is available and a Guide for Guests with
Disabilities can be collected from Guest Services. There is a large car park for
guests with disabilities allowing easy access to the park and each toilet block
has two toilets available for wheelchair-users.

Exit passes are available to guests who do not understand the concept of
queuing and who would become distressed in queue lines. Before an exit pass is
issued guests are required to produce identification or letter of authority stating
their disability.

The pricing policy for guests with disabilities is as follows: the guest with a
disability is required to pay the standard admission price for their visit whereas
the guest’s personal assistant is permitted entry free of charge.

Q-Bot: This virtual queuing system helps guests to make the most of their visit to
the LEGOLAND Windsor Resort, allowing guests to reserve a place on selected
rides, using a hand-held Q-Bot unit. The tiny device allows guests to queue
virtually and spend time enjoying the park’s other attractions whilst they wait until
their allocated ride time. Once guests reach the set time they simply make their
way to the front of the attraction’s queue via the Q-Bot entrance and board their
chosen ride. The Q-Bot service is available from £15 per person for the Q-Bot
Regular, £40 per person for the Q-Bot Express and £70 per person for the Q-Bot
Ultimate. You can have up to six people on each Q-Bot; they can be purchased at
The Beginning and LEGO City areas of the Resort.

Pets at the LEGOLAND Windsor Resort
Pets are not permitted in the Park, with the exception of Assistance Dogs.
However the LEGOLAND Windsor Resort offers kennels for dogs which are
allocated on a first come first served basis. A £10 fee is required when registering
with Guest Services located at The Beginning. A £5 refund will be given at end of
the day.

Family Facilities
Our dedicated Baby Care Centre, located in the heart of the park, offers a private
place to breast or bottle feed babies and change nappies. Toilet blocks
throughout the Resort have baby changing facilities and large cubicles with
additional seating for children. We have also included child-sized toilets, wash
stands and water fountains.
Emergency Contact Stickers are available at Guest Services on request. If you
have a mobile telephone you can write down the number on the sticker which is
worn by the child. They are a quick and effective way of helping us reunite lost
parents and children.
The Parent Swap scheme assists parents and guardians with children who need
to be accompanied or who do not meet height restrictions on certain rides and
attractions. Terms & conditions apply and a member of the Attractions Team at
each ride will have further details.

Buggy Hire, Lockers & Baby Food: Families can hire a single pushchair for £8.50
or double pushchairs for £12 for the day. Lockers can be found in The Beginning,
DUPLO Land and Imagination Centre areas and require a £1 coin to operate
which is non-refundable. Baby food is also available to purchase in some of our
restaurants and heating facilities are also available in the Original Sandwich
Company and City Walk. Baby food is available in all of the park’s family
restaurants including Knights’ Table, DUPLO Family Restaurant, City Walk and
Crossed Ribs.

Educational Visits
The LEGOLAND® Windsor Resort brings lessons to life with hands-on
experiments that combine creativity with technology and playful learning.
The education workshops utilise the world's finest educational play materials -
LEGO® bricks. Run by the LEGOLAND® Windsor Resort’s trained educational
hosts, the cross curricular workshops last 45 minutes and are adaptable for use
by pupils with special educational needs.
Each workshop is accompanied by a FREE Teacher's Resource Pack, full of
activity ideas for before, during and after the visit. Teacher notes suggest
preparatory work and ideas on how to seek out the subject in the Park; also
providing a range of optional activities when the group returns to the classroom.
