Radiology Training Overview: Throughout the this short and comprehensive course, participants are supposed to achieve the following objectives concerning the radiology practice  Be aware of the current and advanced diagnostic imaging modalities and their application for diagnosis and treatment  Be able to run a radio- diagnostic unit providing the basic and common diagnostic procedures  Be able to write a comprehensive report on a radiological study with clinico- radiological interpretation and to deduce the correct diagnosis or the possible differential diagnoses  Be able to communicate and keep pace with radiologists and clinicians in his/ her working place as well as in other hospitals.  Be prepared to acquire and apply the new developments in Radiology whenever available  Having a sufficient preliminary knowledge about the use of computers and computer sciences in radiological diagnosis and management Upon completion of this course, radiologists will have the appropriate diagnostic skills for radiological interpretation, as well as technical and interventional skills . Common clinical scenarios and safe radiological management will be emphasized for women’s imaging, musculoskeletal disorders, cardiovascular diseases, urological diseases, neurological disorders, chest diseases, paediatric diseases and abdomino-pelvic diseases. This course is part of continuing professional development for radiology specialists and is considered and the basis for ongoing series of radiology courses. This course will be accredited from the Ministry of Health and Population as well as from the Egyptian Board of Radiology, as equivalent to 360 CME credit hours Course description: Duration of the course: 61 days ( 52 days didactic and 8 days clinical/lab training). 3 days/week, 6 hours/ day with a total of 366 contact hours.
