BIBLE CAMP REGISTRATION For Christ!
When Is Camp? Camp begins on Sunday - June 20 through Friday – June 25th 2010
What Is It? Camp IA-NE-KA-MO is a Bible-oriented camp for the purpose of promoting a love of God and His
Word in a casual, natural setting. Fellowship with other like-minded young people from the area is encouraged.
Spiritually-minded role models are provided by counselors, teachers and other leaders of the Lords Church.
Who Organizes It? Camp IA-NE-KA-MO is organized by a board of directors consisting of men who are
faithful, active members of area churches of Christ. Members of area churches are welcome to attend board
meetings to provide input. Many area churches of Christ support the camp by sending much appreciated
campers, staff and donations.
What Goes On At Camp? A variety of activities are scheduled each day. Bible classes and singing in the
morning; crafts and free activity time (not sure we will have swimming this year) in the afternoon; organized
recreation, rap sessions and camp fire in the evening, and devotionals and meals or snacks scattered
throughout the day. At the end of the week we have a talent show, awards ceremony and party. Awards are
given for the best Bible student for each class and for the campers who are most encouraging to others. The
top award, the Kenny Archer award, is for the best all around camper.
Who May Attend? If you have had your ninth birthday by the time camp starts, you’re old enough. If you have
just finished high school this year, you may still attend. The only other requirements are to sign up in time and
agree to follow the rules.
What Do I Need To Bring? (Check the rules on other side)
1. A Notebook
2. Modest clothes for a week. Bring extra shoes, socks and a jacket for rainy days.
3. Towels, washcloth, shampoo, soap, toothpaste, toothbrush, etc.
4. Sleeping bag or sheets, blanket and pillow.
5. Flashlight
6. Bibles will be provided
When Do I Need to Arrive and when does camp finish? Try to arrive between 3 and 4 on Sunday, June
20th. Communion will be served during the evening service for those that were not able to partake earlier in
the day. Parents and family members are invited to join us beginning at 5 p.m. on Friday for our dinner
banquet and closing night’s program. Please RSVP on Registration form. All campers should be picked up
by 7:00 PM Friday June 25th.
What Does It Cost? The Standard cost is $135.00 per camper. Campers who have their registrations to Greg
Haynie (Address below) by May 15th the cost will be $110.00. If you register anytime after May 15th, you will be
charged the full fee of $135.00 per camper. Included in the fee are room, board, crafts, snacks, and a Bible.
Campers will not need any money while at camp and we would prefer if they didn’t have any money on their
person, or in their luggage that could be stolen.
Scholarships IA-NE-KA-MO would like to ask anyone needing financial help with their camp registration to
first contact their local church of Christ congregation. We also have a scholarship application if you are
unable to obtain help locally. Please fill out the app and IA-NE-KA-MO will seek to assist with the scholarship.
Friday Night Dinner and Closing Ceremonies On Friday night all families are invited to join us for supper
and a closing ceremony after supper. Come and meet the staff and see what you child has been doing at
camp. Please RSVP with a number of attendees on the registration form.
Who is in charge? Clark Morris of The Heartland Church of Christ is our director. If you have any questions
contact him at 816-686-0841 or email at morrisc@william.jewell.edu.
