Hi, everyone. I hope everyone has had a good year and that next year will be even better.

This is my Swan Song as President as I will be in the position of Past President and heckler for the new

We are going to keep this simple and reasonably priced with little or no cost to our class treasury. We
will not send out any mailings or letters – It will be done through email and word of mouth only, so

not require organizing a committee or require work and will be a one-night party only. Just fun, food,
fellowship and festivity!

Depending on how many reservations we get, we will either have a buffet dinner or order from a nice
small selective menu. Each classmate will receive a bill after dinner to pay for their own dinner and
drinks. The class will not be handling any money.

And Our Classmate Jim Jackson has offered to bring his wonderful selection of music and equipment
and will be our DJ playing any and all of our favorites. Thanks, Jim!

What we need to know from you now is: Would you consider attending our "65th" Birthday
Celebration? With many of our classmates out of town, we wanted to get the first notice out early so
you can plan ahead. Please email me or call with your tentative reservation. Thanks!

Ardis Hartley Billey writes: Last summer, our mother was shopping, by herself, at the Meijer's store in
Sandusky, as was her weekly routine. She fell down when leaving the store and was badly injured. Our
mom, who was in a lot of pain, waited for medical help to arrive. As they weren't coming, she was scared
and her condition worsened so she tried to drive herself to get medical assistance. Two good Samaritans
saw her and, deeply concerned for her, followed her to urgent care. It has been very distressing to my
family not knowing what happened to her. We are trying to find these two good Samaritans, who were,
besides the medical teams and her doctor, that never gave up trying to save her, the real heroes and a
bright light of human compassion in this horrible situation. If anyone reading this newsletter, or anyone
from the Sandusky or surrounding area knows these people that helped our mom, please call me at 440-
241-6978. Our family wishes you the happiest of holidays and a healthy and prosperous new year!
