Xiamen Airlines Joins SkyTeam Airline, by Michael Chock
On November 21st 2012, Xiamen Airlines, a Chinese airline, became the 19th member of SkyTeam and
the 4th airline from the Greater China region to become part of SkyTeam.
The new addition of one of the largest and most profitable carriers in China means an extension of
SkyTeam’s services to locations including Hangzhou, Fuzhou, and Xiamen. The number one airline
alliance in the Greater China region, SkyTeam is now able to provide customers from China with a
broader range of international flight opportunities.
Xiamen Airlines will also be a part of SkyTeam’s specialized customer services, including the Go Round
the World Pass and the Go Greater China Pass, a more flexible and affordable way to plan a global travel
