       The “ABB Automation” LLC has been founded in 1994 by the Russian electrotechnical enterprises and
ABB - the international industrial group.
       Main field of activities - design, production, delivery and implementation of relay protection,
control, monitoring, measurement and process parameter adjustment systems for the power industry,
metallurgy, gas and oil producing industry, refinery and other industrial enterprises.
We produce and deliver:
          automated process control systems for power stations and industrial enterprises;
          relay protection and automation devices and systems;
          automated process control systems for industrial enterprise power supply, automated
             dispatcher control systems, automated electric power metering systems
          frequency electric drives, soft starters;
          control and measurement instruments, analytical equipment;
          automated control, monitoring, measurement and process parameter adjustment systems.
We perform the full scope of engineering activities, guarantee and service maintenance of the
manufactured equipment, provide consultations and personnel training.
       These products based on the latest achievements of information technology fully comply with specific
requirements of the Russian power industry, their service being simple and user-friendly. The microprocessor
hardware and software provide the improved reliability of consumers’ power supply as well as the considerable
reducement of electrical equipment maintenance costs and the consequential fast self-repayment. Being the same
quality level than the best foreign analog equipmen, the electrical equipment produced by “ABB Automation” is
much cheaper.
       “ABB Automation” has been the first to introduce the relay protection and automation technique of a new
generation in Russia.
       Our equipment has been delivered for more than 700 RAO UES Russia, Gazprom, major oil, gas and other
industrial companies objects.
       There are educational centres in Cheboksary, Moscow and Saint-Petersburg to train the personnel of relay
protection and automation services to maintain the modern microprocessor-based numerical relay protection and
automation equipment.
       Severe competition with the foreign and domestic companies demands to be always in search of principally
new technical solutions. We closely cooperate with our customers in the field of new relay protection
developments. Together we solve the problems of provision of definite power objects with new technique, the
financial abilities of our partners being taken into account. “ABB Automation” has a well-developed structure of
regional representations, dealers and trade agents in Russia and CIS countries for sales of the delivered relay
protection and automation products. Together with the customers they can place orders for the products’ delivery
as well as to coordinate the financing matters with the customers.
