About Us
Welcome to the ParentsConnect family of sites! ParentsConnect is brought to you by the same folks
who bring you Noggin, Nick Jr., Nickelodeon, Nick@Nite and The N. As you probably know, we like to
make fun stuff for kids. That's because, as parents ourselves, we know how important it is to keep
kids happy. But we also know that kids aren't the only ones who need stuff just for them, which is
why we decided to create a space for parents too. You're looking at it ... and it's all about you. Our
motto is: We're not perfect, we're parents. And we mean it!
Minti is a virtual place where parents can visit anytime to share and gain valuable advice on
parenting. The content is created by members in the form of articles. The articles are tagged, rated
and commented on by the community to encourage the integrity and relevancy of the information
created. Topics range from pre-pregnancy, pregnancy, babies, early childhood, schooling, tweens,
teenage years and beyond. Consider Minti as your global parent support group and expect lots of new
features to be constantly added to the site so we can all be better at the most important job in the
world: parenting.
BabyCenter, the Web's #1 global interactive parenting network, has nurtured more than 100 million
parents since its launch in 1997. Our purpose is to support parents through their journey of
parenthood with a blend of expert advice and user-created wisdom. We offer trustworthy, medical
advisory board-approved information and real-world, parent-to-parent tips from pre-conception
through age eight. Our goal is to increase the enjoyment of parenting and remove some of the guilt
and worry by providing a full and balanced picture of raising a child, leaving the decision making to
the parents.
MomJunction is all about moms sharing wisdom and answers with each other. MomJunction aims to
connect more moms than anywhere else in the world.
Launched in late 2006, CafeMom is by far the largest social-networking/community site for moms
AND the leading women's/parenting site on the internet - passing mainstream sites like ivillage,
babycenter, and Marthastewart on the engagement metrics that matter most. With more than
145MM pageviews / month and 7MM visits / month, CafeMom was ranked the #8 fastest-growing
site in 2007 by compete.com and has recently won awards from Mashable and AlwaysOn as one of
the leading social networking sites. CafeMom has just launched CafeMom Plus, a boutique ad
network of sites focused on moms. The launch of the Network increases CafeMom's reach from 4MM
unique visitors per month to more than 8MM visitors per month.
Babble is an online magazine for a new generation of young parents. Since its launch in December
2006, Babble’s audience has grown rapidly without marketing – we just passed 1.2 million uniques,
and traffic is growing at an average rate of 17% per month. Babble readers are influential parents who
are extremely tuned into what their children are watching, listening to, eating, wearing and doing.
MothersClick.com is the world's first social network and online service provider developed exclusively
for active moms and their groups. It's a free online tool designed to be a unique parenting resource,
helping moms to promote group-building, knowledge-sharing, and community. In other words, we've
built a unique system to provide a dynamic online infrastructure that can be used by new and existing
groups, clubs and organizations for moms - without having to give up control of anything.
In the Recipe, Travel, and Event sections, you can store and share everything from your tastiest
recipes, fabulous party ideas, to your favorite family vacations. You have the option to keep these
private for your own personal reference, but we encourage you to share and inspire. Family Health is
a secure area that I use to feel safe when I travel away from home with my family. It is a fast way for
me to have access to health records, doctors, and other important information when I need it the
most. It is located in your “Command Center”. You can get to it from the menu options at the top of
the page once you are signed in. Any messages you receive from members are in your “Command
Center” too. You can get to it from the menu options at the top of the page once you are signed in. In
the section called “Message Center”. This is where you can read and send messages, as well as accept
new friends on OpMom. MomCircles are simply just groups within the OpMom community. When
you create a MomCircle you are inviting members to a participate in a group. You choose whether it is
a public group for any member to join, or a private group where you control who can join.
ConnectingMoms.com is a premier social site for moms of all ages and stages of motherhood. A place
to connect; a community open 24/7 where the voices of embracing, amiable, and encouraging
women carry you throughout your day. It's a place to find out what real moms are saying about
products and services for your kids and family. A friendly community of women where you can discuss
anything that's on your mind, share ideas and chat about current events. It's a place to find out what
works for other moms and a place to discove what really works for you. So wether you're seeking
advice, looking to share your knowledge or lend a helping hand, ConnectingMoms is the web's
premier location for mothers to meet and greet, post and boast, and most importantly - make a
difference.
Momlogic is the ultimate destination for Moms who want to know a little bit about a lot of things, but
have very little time. We understand the challenges of keeping up with your family, your home, your
world ... never mind finding time for yourself. At momlogic, we believe that being a mother is not an
exact science, but a perfectly imperfect experience.

About Us
Our network includes GoCityKids, the premier authority on local resources, favorites and activities for
your family, and BabyNamesWorld, the most popular pregnancy destination on the Web and one of
the top five family websites in the world. We help parents with kids of all ages: preconception
through pregnancy, and baby through teen. And our community is growing bigger and bigger every
day.
BabyCenter® has outposts in 18 markets worldwide attracting over 6 million visitors a month in
Australia, Austria, Brazil, Canada, China, Germany, India, Malaysia, Mexico, the Middle East,
Philippines, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom. BabyCenter is available
in seven languages, including a Spanish language site for the U.S. Hispanic audience also available via
mobile phone.
MomJunction moms have all the tools to coordinate and organize their lives, including a calendar,
personal messaging and photo sharing. Moms can create groups that reflect their lives (friends,
family, neighbors, school parents, organization members, etc.) and interact and communicate using
Ripple technology to share selectively between their groups.
As the world's original social networkers, moms are connecting on shared interests, passions,
challenges, and local geography. Moms have created more than 60,000 groups. Popular groups
include pregnancy, raising boys, recipe swap, photo moms, and marriage and relationships. CafeMom
features include fully customizable profile pages, friends' networks, journaling, a widget platform and
strong privacy / anonymity controls. CafeMom is focused on creating a great site for moms that is
somewhere they can come to get advice, feel supported, make friends or just relax.
Most importantly, MothersClick is not intended to replace the "human touch" of moms gathering
together in person. To the contrary, we use technology to simplify our lives by providing greater value
for our time spent online. For example, one of the main advantages of our system is the ability for
mothers to communicate with others outside of their group, regardless of geography. The sharing of
"mommy wisdom" is truly global, and I see that as one of our greatest strengths. Currently, there's no
easy way for a mom in one group to find and ask a question of another group, let's say from San
Francisco to New York, or vice versa. Even internationally. We provide that functionality, while each
group still remains autonomous, private and secure.
As Moms ourselves, we recognize that while being a mother may be the most important aspect of our
lives, it is not the only aspect of our being.
Kaboose was founded in 1999 and is now one of the largest family-focused online media companies in
the world with a leading position in three of the largest English-speaking markets in the world - the
U.S., the U.K. and Canada. From pregnancy to parenting and entertainment to education, Kaboose
has the content and applications to help parents plan and share their family life.
Welcome to Cincy MomsLikeMe.com. We're here to make life easier (and more fun) for moms in the
Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky region. Our staff consists of Managing Editor Karen Gutierrez (that's
her on the right) and six moms who help moderate our discussions on a part-time basis. Prior to Oct.
6, 2008, our site was called cincyMOMS.com. Cincy MomsLikeMe.com builds on a great thing by
providing additional ways for moms to connect with each other, while retaining favorite features of
cincyMOMS. For specific information on how to use MomsLikeMe.com, please check out our
extensive FAQ.
About Us
At ParentsConnect we don't believe that parenting is a science. There's no one way or right way to do
it. So while we might not have all the answers, we can try to support you and help make your life a
little easier. We provide parents with daily tips, recipes, activities, product recommendations and
expert (but nonjudgmental!) parenting info, baby names and their meanings, and family-friendly
resources in your area. We also want you to share your parenting expertise by submitting your own
tips, local activities, crafts, recipes, photos, war stories, comments and ratings to our site.
The editors at BabyCenter have authored two books, The BabyCenter® Essential Guide to Pregnancy
and Birth and The BabyCenter® Essential Guide to Your Baby's First Year.
Ripple is the equivalent of real life word-of-mouth using the scale and speed of the Internet. Ripple
makes it possible for Moms to connect one group they are in to another -- sharing their experiences,
knowledge and tips with their friends, friends of friends, and so on, reaching out to potentially
millions of moms and their collective experiences.
CafeMom has also developed a series of cutting edge sponsorship programs that allow leading brands
to join the consumer conversation, add value to members' lives, and get members talking about
sponsor brands in an authentic and viral way. CafeMom advertisers include Walmart, General Mills,
Hasbro, Target, P&G, Disney, Johnson & Johnson, JCPenney, Unilever, and dozens of others.
Another powerful feature of our application is the ability for new moms to easily find and join a
group by location or interests, as well as start their own. MothersClick is not another group email
provider. It's the logical next step for building and growing our community. Groups may decide
whether they want to be public or private, and each shall managed by the founding group manager.
Every group created on MothersClick will operate independently, and we shall exercise no control
over membership.
Momlogic is a community where Moms from all walks of life and in all stages of motherhood come
together. Whether you are a Mom-to-be or a mother of five, momlogic offers a safe place to get
information, join the conversation, and share your own experiences. Come share your momlogic with
us.
In North America, Kaboose has the largest independent online site focusing on pregnancy and
parenting; the largest online scrapbooking community; and consistently ranks among the top three
online properties targeting families. In the United Kingdom, Kaboose has over 90% coverage of all
births in the United Kingdom; Europe's largest database of young families with 9 million records and
over 50,000 new members every month; and the UK's biggest parenting club with 1.7 million active
members.
Here's what we're all about: - Forums: Ask questions, offer advice and swap stories with other local
moms in our discussion forums. No topic is off limits. To get started, you can click on the "Mom to
Mom" tab in the pink bar at the top of our site for a complete list of all our discussion categories. Or
you can click on the "Recent Discussions" and "Most Popular" discussions in the middle of the home
page. - Groups: Are you a member of a local playgroup that could use a spot on the Web? Have you
always wanted a way to reach moms in your particular neighborhood? Explore our Groups section,
where you can join existing groups and/or create your own. Our groups get their own Web address,
so you can easily share your group's page with friends. Use groups to start discussions, share photos
and schedule get-togethers. You can make your group private or public on our site. - My Stuff: Your
very own section of the site, where you organize & manage your friends, photos, groups, private
messages from other member and more. You also have the opportunity to create a profile that you
can share with other members of the site. - Photos: Have a great photo to share? We'd love to see
them! Submit your pictures and comment on photos shared by others.
