TRINITY CATHOLIC SCHOOL
THURSDAY BULLETIN
April 19, 2012
Dear Parents,
Easter season continues and the 3rd graders reminded us of this at All-School Prayer on Monday. They did a play
depicting the Gospel story with Jesus and Thomas. This class also shared their prayer with the Principals today.
April was Trinity’s month to host the Principal’s Meeting. All-School Prayer continues to be one of my favorite
times of the week and was one of the rituals that drew me to the school before I became Principal. Rituals are times
and events that create “community”. Reminder to students that Mass days are FULL UNIFORM DAYS. Thank
you for being in uniform!
We are continuing Registration this week. If you have not scheduled your appointment call
Terri to schedule or catch me in the hall or on the street when you are transporting
children. A few of you need to reschedule. Thank you.
Reminder again: Students in grades 3-7 are finishing their ITBS testing during this week. Please make sure
students are eating well and getting enough sleep, since these testing days can be long for children. Also, make sure
you have your children here on time and that you do not schedule appointments. Thank you for your cooperation.
The Cow Plop winning theme was voted on this week. Our slogan is “The
Greatest Plop on Earth” and will have a circus theme… (Congratulations
Balenzano Family). Thanks to many of you who contributed great ideas. It was
an especially difficult choice this year.
Thanks to Mr. Turner, we are again hosting a Mamma Mia’s weekend to help benefit our school. All you need to do
is go out to dinner or invite your friends and relatives to go out to dinner. Flyers are available today. 20% of the
proceeds will go to our school and we can all eat and laugh and have a great time in the process. The weekend is
Bloomsday Weekend again. This is a busy time for Mamma Mia’s. Please mark your calendar and enjoy food,
friends, and fun!!
Father Nigro whose has been leading the St. Anthony’s retreat came to visit the school yesterday. He met with each
class. Please ask your children about his visit. He is a Jesuit who taught at Gonzaga University..
