I understand that there are certain risks of injury inherent in the practice and play of this sport and other related activities incidental to my child’s participation, and I am willing to assume these risks on behalf of my child. I hereby certify that my child is fully capable of participating in the designated sport and that my child is healthy and has no physical or mental disabilities or infirmities that would restrict full participation in those activities, except as listed below. In addition to giving my full consent for my child’s participation, I do hereby waive, release and hold harmless the organization named above, its officers, coaches, sponsors, supervisors and representatives for any injury that may be suffered by my child in the normal course of participation in the designated sport and activities incidental thereto. wrestlers’ clinic will learn technique and drills that have provided our clinicians with the same success that we hope your wrestlers will gain. The wrestling clinicians are former Rio Rancho wrestling champions who are currently coaching and competing at the next level. The wrestler’s Clinic will be a two day camp designed for wrestlers of all age groups. Wrestlers will learn fundamental as well as advanced technique to help your wrestler’s be the most competitive during season. The technique will be folkstyle wrestling. The Rio Rancho High School Wrestling Coaching Staff will be on hand to help campers with learning the technique. What to Bring: Each Wrestler should come dressed to wrestle. The coaching staff at Rio Rancho encourages each participant to bring athletic shorts and shirt to workout in. Each wrestler should also have wrestling shoes. Headgear and kneepads are optional. Wrestler should have a water bottle. Facilities: This two day event will be held at the Rio Rancho High School Auxiliary Gymnasium. Bathrooms will be located in front of the building and mats will be set up in the gym for the Wrestlers clinic. The bleachers in the auxiliary gymnasium will be opened for all spectators to watch the clinicians and wrestlers. A variety of refreshments and snacks will be for sale provided by the Rio Rancho Wrestling Booster club. Participants will be able to purchase these refreshments in the gym before, after, and during breaks. Age Groups: All age groups are welcomed as well as different levels of wrestlers from 1st year Jr. Wrestlers to 4 year starting varsity wrestlers. Cost: This is a day event and each participant will cost $45.00 for the two days. Each session will cost $ 25.00

Arizona State Sundevils Placed 7th in the 2009 Pac Ten Championships 2008 FILA Junior National Championships in Las Vegas and placed eighth in the freestyle 66kg (145.5) weight class.
