In the redesigned C-Class interior, the instrument cluster forms the focal point of an attractive and smartly designed cockpit. The four chronometer-style circular instruments, with stylish and modern white backlighting, provide the perfect overview of automotive exhilaration in progress. From there, everything is ergonomically positioned like never before; climate control, audio, power-window and a multitude of other functions are designed completely with the driver in mind. The results are exceptional ease of use and an unparalleled driving experience. The C-Class also comes standard with a passion for details. The improved interior enhances an already luxuriously-appointed haven. New in the 2007 edition: high gloss Laurel wood trim on the dash and door panels, and Black Bird’s Eye Mapel wood trim standard in the C350 Sedan and as part of the optional C230 Sport Package. As well, the multifunction leather sterring wheel and shift knob, plus the seat belts, now come colour matched to your choice of four interiour upholstery selections. In the C-Class, luxury is found in even the smallest of details.
Elegant solutions are often simple solutions. One of the most beautiful examples of this is the C-Class. A seamless blend of elegance and powerfull lines form an overall appearance that tingles the senses. High-gloss, clear-lens headlamps, large air intakes perfectly carved into the front apron, a sleek three-louvre radiator grille, and side skirts that seductively merge in a sporty rear bumper are just some features that capture the eye - and the imagination. Rest assured, the yearnings of the speed-conscious have not been overlooked. The C350 Sedan features a multitued of extra details: new AMG-style dual exhaust pipes, an AMG-style rear lip spoiler, 17” 6-spoke sport wheels and Bi-Xenon headlamps as standard features.
DESIGNED fOR DETOURS.
You may well find yourself seeking out detours in the new C-Class. Not just because its impressive performance, but because of its luxurious interior comfort. The driver and front passanger seats are 4-way power adjustable for the most personal settings, with height and backrest adjustments functions at your fingertip. With a heating function for those chilly mornings (optional on the C230), the ergonomic, extra-comfortable seats are upholstered in the ARTICO leather. Sporty and easy-to-clean, ARTICO leather is also extremely durable. Premium leather upholstery is also an option on all models. For the comfort of all passanger, the standard THERMATIC automatic climate control system allows independent climate control for the left and righ-hand sides of the vehicle. Dust and pollen filters plus an air recirculation switch ensure there is clean, fresh air on board at all times. Your set temperature remains constant, even when temperatures outside sink or soar.

On the C230 Sedan, the optional Sport Package is as broad as it is precise. Incredibly responsive sport supsension and staggered tires (225/45 at the front and 2245/40 at the rear) provide ehiliarating cornering and handling. The AMG body kit includes stainless steel AMG-style dual exhaust tailpipes and 17” 6-spoke sport wheels. The sporty theme is just as prominent once you step inside. Specially designed seats provide perfect support for the driver and front passanger, particularly on challengng curves. The seats are uphplstered in ARTICO leather. Black Bird’s Eye Maple wood trim adds a well-appointed finishing touch.

You may not realize it, but attraction is everything. Laying your eyes on the CLS-Class for the first time is a perfect example. Second 1: The curved L-shaped headlamps of the new Mercedes-Benz face sparkle, grabbing your attention. The world appreciates a well built car - one that has a history of intergrity. It isn’t well tknown that the CLS-Class has a distinguished past. One of our most prestigious cars descends from a long line of champions, going all the way back to the 1930’s. At iits beginning, it was proclaimed the world’s fastest. Not much has changed since then. At its heart, the CLS550 is a technological tour de force in the form of a new and powerful V-8 engine whose performance credentials are underlined by its superb sound. The new V-8 engine impresses with its even-running characteristics and a mighty 391 lb-ft of torque. Its four valves per cyclinder combined with the continuous camshaft adjustment on the inlet and exhaust sides produce the engine’s mighty output of 382 hp, 80 hp over the previous engine. The 7G-TRONIC automatic transmission, a perfect match for this kind of power, will shift rpm when spirited driving is sensed, or glide smoothly to maximize fuel efficiency.

Ergonomically formed for optimum comfort and support, the seats in the CLS-Class help you make the most of its sporty credential. We know that no two people have exactly the same build. That’s why the front seats are equipped with a 10-way electrical adjustment system which allows them to be configured to provide the ideal position, cushion height, inclination and longitudinal setting for each front occupant. It may be hard to believe, but the backseat is as comfortable as the front. Stylish and roomy the two individual rear buckets seats are extremely accomodating and relaxing to sit in. Fine, premium leather upholstery entices you to linger and appreciate the superb comfort of the supportive seat structure and head restraints. Generous amounts of legroom only add to the experience. The experience of a CLS-Class is unforgetable. There is no mistaking the smoothness of the ride. Imagine a car that lets you tule the road. In this four-door coupe, every trip becomes a real pleasure, whatever the distance. Best of all, wherever you go, we can guarantee it will be an easy drive. Seven gear ratios provide a larger ratio spread and can react on the basis of smaller differences in engine speed. This produces faster shift operations which, in turn, make for smoother running and improved ride comfort. 7G-TRONIC employs the multiple downshift principle. This means that a number of gears can be skipped when shifting down. 7G-TRONIC also helps to reduce fuel consumption and emission levels. The added AMG SPEEDSHIFT enhancements on the CLS63 AMG offer even sportier gear changes along with shift paddles on the sterring wheel.
