					EARTHDANCE 2008 GLOBAL FESTIVAL FOR PEACE
Dear Stallholder You are back again for one of the best events in Sydney Earthdance 2007 – Global Festival for Peace. As there are site changes with the move to Prince Alfred Park this year the layout has been redesigned and is all new. Site placement is at the events discretion. All sites look great at this stage.

THE MAP
I have attached a map for you to get an idea of the stages locations I would just like to remind you of the following important information that you will need for the day.

HOW TO GET THERE AND GET IN
• Vehicles must display a Vehicle pass. You will receive this after you book a load in time with us. Load in on the event day is from 6am to 8:00am Saturday the 13th September. Please check your email for your pass and load in time information. Vehicle entry is from the first Chalmers St Entrance on your left as you turn into Chalmers from Cleveland St. For those of you who have done Surry Hills Festival the entrance gate is the same. Follow all directives of gate Staff All vehicles are required to be off site by 8am. minutes to unload. You get 15

Absolutely no cars to be parked on site parking is in the surrounding streets, please be aware of street parking signage. Vehicles can re-enter the site only at the end of the Festival when the crowd has dispersed which may not be until 7pm. You can walk your product out by trolley prior to that. When driving in the park, vehicles must be highly aware of other park users – children, walkers, dogs, bike riders, etc. PLACE YOUR HAZARDS LIGHTS ON the park is still a public park.

NON-FOOD STALL INFO
YOUR STALL SIZE OPERATING HOURS RUBBISH 3 x 3m for General stalls Food stalls are 4 x 4m From 9am to 6pm All stallholders are required to leave their site as they found it or you are charged a waste fee. Bring your own waste containers. Absolutely no plastic bags or Polystyrene on site. This is a no glass site for food and drinks. All packaging must be compostable contact BIOPAK.

ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT ELECTRICAL LEADS PUBLIC and PRODUCTS LIABILITY INSURANCE

Is available only to stalls who have ordered and paid for it. Ensure you order enough power before the day. All electrical equipment must be tagged and tested. Bring at least a 25m lead as you may be some distance from the generator All stallholders must have presented us with a copy of their valid public liability insurance certificate of currency to gain access to the site on the day.

IMPORTANT NOTES FOR FOOD STALLS
CITY OF SYDNEY (COS FORMS) Food stalls must comply and have read and understood the C.O.S guidelines for temporary food stall operations. You must have faxed your ‘Details of Temporary food stall by the 30th of August to 0754 35 8312. The forms are available on our website www.bazaarmarketing.com or on the COS website. All staff must have been inducted into your owns stalls Occupational

Health and Safety procedures prior to commencing work on your stall. FIRE EXTINGUISHERS Must be current, working and relevant to the type of fire that may occur in your stall All workers must be covered under a Workers compensation policy. All water must be ordered and paid for through the festival. See attached order sheet to be returned by Friday the 7th to the BAR manager. You may order your own softdrinks in containers suitable to BIOPAK please contact them. Prices must be set at the same as the BAR prices. Your site bond will be kept if you fail to comply with the conditions for selling water. Must be biodegradable and compostable. Contact BIOPAK. Your site bond will be kept if you fail to use compostable crockery and cutlery on site and you may be asked to cease trading. The waste fee you pay is purely to help with the waste generated by food stalls around the entire site. You are still required to leave a clean site around your own stall to enable you to participate again. Your site bond will be kept by the event if you fail to leave your own site clean. You will need to bring some way of transporting water to your stall. While the water is potable ensure you bring your own for assurance of quality for cooking. If you have not stated specifically 15amp you will get 10amp power outlets for each power ordered. Ensure that if you require power you have ordered it as you may be placed in a NON-POWERED area.

Make sure your leads are at least 25m long and recently tagged and tested. Not Permitted on site please bring resealable containers/BIOPAK compostable film. All stalls must provide us with a Certificate of Currency from an APRA registered Underwriter.

Having read the above and followed all the directives for the day you are ensured a peaceful festival experience. If you have any questions or have not received your Vehicle pass by the 10th of September email us on bazaarmarketing@optusnet.com.au that way we can check your email address and send what you need straight to you. INFO AND DOCUMENTS TO RETURN TO US (all attached below) • City of Sydney Details of Temporary Food Stall Document for food stalls needs to be returned immediately. Download them from our website. Fill in and fax back the Water/drinks order form to Lakenda by the 7th of September.

CONDITIONS AND PAYMENT
• • • No cancellations of orders once faxed through to Lakenda Pty Ltd. Restocking may not be possible on the day. Consult the Bar manager on the day regarding restocking availability. Payment must be made by money order or cash at the time of picking up your goods unless direct deposit or cheques have been organised prior to the 13th of September. Any bounced cheques will receive an additional $50 admin surcharge from Lakenda Pty Ltd. Any non payment of received goods will be forwarded to Lakenda’s official collection agency for collection after 14 days from the event date. I understand that no other bottled water may be sold on my stall during the event and if found to be doing so I will have those drinks confiscated without return.
