Denis Bondarenko – Banking Advisor
Denis joined the Russia Banking Advisory Project in November 2007. He will contribute to the market risk management, asset and liability management issues in banking institutions. Before joining the IFC, Denis had several specialist and unitlevel management positions in Vnesheconombank, Moscow in Treasury department, and Risk management department from its formation. He was in charge of developing control mechanisms in the financial market operations, managing market and ALM risks, including the issues of methodology for measuring the risks and limits setting, process formalization, internal reporting tools improvement, effective assignment of roles and responsibilities in the banking structure. As an independent consultant, Denis was involved in the research project to work out the international financial market investment strategy for the Russia Stabilization Fund. Denis graduated from the Finance Academy under the Government of the Russian Federation, gaining a degree in Banking. Denis has professional certificates in the financial market from the local Regulatory board and ISMA.
