									Peach Cobbler Dum Cake


1 can (29 ounce) peaches in heavy syrup
1 can (16 ounce) peaches with syrup drained
1 (18.25 ounce) package yellow cake mix
1/2 cup butter
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon, divided
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg


Preheat oven to 375 ° F.

Pour the 29 ounce can of peaches into a 9-inch x 13-inch pan. Include the syrup.

Drain the syrup from the 16 ounce can of peaches.

Dump the peaches into the pan.

Sprinkle the peaches with 1/4 cup brown sugar, 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon and the nutmeg. Stir
to mix the spices.

Pour the cake mix over the peaches. Don’t stir! Use a spatula to gently even out the cake mix.

Cut the putter into small pats and cover the top of the cake mix.

Sprinkle the top with the remaining cinnamon.

Bake for 45 minutes.

Remove from the oven and cool on a rack.

Taste great served warm with vanilla bean ice cream.
