Supporting a Study into the Indonesian Private Health Sector
Israel funded a study on the private health care sector in Indonesia with a special emphasis on identifying investment opportunities for IFC. The final report provided a quantitative and qualitative assessment of the existing private health care sector, including an overview of the market segments as well as specific national and regional market characteristics. The study also provided information on current and expected market trends and experience of private health care providers (both local and foreign) in Indonesia to date. In addition, a detailed summary of investment opportunities for IFC was provided, including a matrix of the identified projects readiness and attractiveness for IFC investment.
Russian University Strategic Business Plan Development
Israel assisted IFC’s work in Russia by supporting the development of strategic and capital investment plans for four private higher education institutions. This study builds on earlier work undertaken by IFC and its partners in Russia’s private tertiary education institutions. In addition to reviewing the sector, the key objective of the earlier study was to identify possible future IFC investments. The project also helped the universities identified to prepare themselves for possible IFC investment.
