The Holiday Ferret has introduced a winter holiday portal. The portal
will help people find the perfect rental by owner accommodation for their
skiing and snowboarding trips.

United Kingdom, Kent, December 05, 2012 -- UK based holiday rentals
company has launched a winter portal to help holiday makers find the
perfect ski chalet accommodation for their skiing and snowboarding
holiday.

The idea behind the portal is to bring all the resources into one place.
This will make finding vacation rental accommodation easier for
travellers. Currently, The Holiday Ferret has accommodation based in
Europe and North America.

“It’s quite intriguing.” Said Director, James Curl. “As well as countries
which you associate with skiing, we are featuring countries better known
for having a hot climate, such as Portugal, Italy, and Spain.”

The Holiday Ferret currently features properties for skiing and
snowboarding in the U.S, Canada, Switzerland, France, Scotland, Spain,
Italy, Portugal, and Romania.

“Self catering ski chalets are very popular among skiers, especially
given the high cost of this type of vacation in some parts of the world.”
Continued James. “They save a lot of money on food costs, and depending
on the size of the group, the cost of accommodation can be greatly
reduced.

“We have found rental by owner properties to be very popular with
families, as they become a home away from home. Parents and guardians can
control aspects which would be very difficult if they were staying in
hotels. Diet, and having separate bedrooms for young children being good
cases in point.
