PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Teaching Fellow, Center for Experimental Music and Intermedia (CEM), College of Music, University of North Texas,
Denton, TX, 1996–present. Teach undergraduate courses in electronic music, including audio concepts and production,
computer literacy and programming, and principles relating to sound. Topics include: Principles of digital audio and
composition, sequencing, MIDI, recording techniques, algorithmic composition, and real-time interactive composition
with MAX/MSP.

music media. Lectured and created tutorials on audio subjects including Csound, MAX/pd, algorithmic composition,
and the KYMA system. Lectured and provided detailed instruction on the use the UNIX operating system,
programming in BASIC, C/C++, Smalltalk 80, and general Windows/Macintosh/UNIX assistance.

multi-channel sound systems for all concert events. System administrator of UNIX workstations.

Recording Engineer, Consortium to Distribute Computer Music, 1998. Engineered and re-mixed audio for CDCM
Computer Music Series Disc Volume 27, entitled CemiSonics - The Threshold of Sound.

Research Assistant, Texas Instruments, Inc. in conjunction with the University of North Texas, Denton, TX, 1997-98 for a
singing computer project creating demos utilizing the technology, debugging software, and recording of voice samples
for analysis. Department of Composition Studies at the University of North Texas, Denton TX, 1997 implementing a n
8-channel spatial audio system in csound. Department of Visual Arts at the University of North Texas, Denton TX, 2000 –
assist in creating a software program for the realization of music from typographical terminology and visual meaning.

PC hardware support, AST Computer, Inc., Fort Worth, TX, 1994. Provided hardware and software technical support to
authorized AST repair centers throughout the United States. Provided parts training on AST and Grid portable
computers.
