They can be purchased locally, or found on several internet sites. Be sure to purchase the correct instrument book! Woodwind players: Flutes; a clean small soft cloth, a cleaning rod. Reed instruments: Three (3) working reeds at all times, neck strap, clean polish cloth, reed holders are nice to have, a good ligature. Brass players: Trombones; a clean polish cloth, slide oil. All valve brass; valve oil, tuning slide oil, clean polish cloth Percussion: A 12” double-sided, Real Feel practice pad, a snare stand, one pair of 5A or 7A snare sticks. Please put your name/initials on all of these with a permanent marker – these all will look the same in rehearsal! EVERYONE: All players need a good (not chipped/cracked) mouthpiece. Tuners are recommended (not required). A wire music stand for practice at home.
