Gramster is an online application for learning and reinforcing English grammar,
intended for secondary schools, universities and companies.

The content ranges from Beginner to Proficient (5 levels) and the exercises require both
reading and writing as a student first discovers a rule and then activates that knowledge
through a passage where they choose an answer among several alternatives; they
receive immediate feedback in a way that allows the student to explore their incorrect
responses. Students can track their progress and it is particularly beneficial to couple
these exercises with an additional approach that addresses oral comprehension or
                    expression.

English Grammar II 9

                                                                             English Grammar II

Like its predecesor, Gramster II provides 35 extra grammar subjects, again ranging over
                     5 levels.

The spirit of this approach is important to underline as the exercises require the student
to think; grammar rules are never imposed without a certain exploration and "owning of
the language" as in some exercises the student is challenged to create completely new
sentences stemming from what they've learned. This application particularly meets the
needs of students learning grammar for communication, as they acquire the
grammatical structures which is essential for linguistic autonomy. Gramster II features
many semi-authentic texts which can of course be printed out and used for group
                     discussion.

Vocabster is an online application designed for mastering around 3000 words.

It deals with more than 90 different topics based on the language, the actions, the
people and the events of everyday life. Each topic is divided into several steps. First, the
meaning of words associated with the topic is explained. Next, a first series of practical
exercises enables the student to recognize the words and their meaning. Subsequent
exercises aim to use the words in a context and thus achieve full mastery of the
vocabulary. At every stage, there are clear explanations to assist comprehension and, at
the end of each level, five tests allow the student to revise and check his/her
                     progression.

if required, can be subtitled to assist comprehension and a glossary of vocabulary used
is available as well. One of the key values of this "Citizen of the World" is the range of

writing, tests...) and it suits all levels from false beginner to advanced. The exercises and
videos were written and produced by experienced professors at the University of
                         Wolverhampton in England.

                         An invaluable teaching aid:
The videos also provide students with a peek get into various aspects of daily life and
culture in England which lends well to follow-up work in class comparing different

A collection of six titles tailored to students seeking to improve their comprehension of
                       Business English.

Each title contains 30 minutes of video and 250 exercises. The videos are authentic
situations filmed in well-known companies and, if required, the recordings have
subtitles to assist comprehension in addition to a glossary of the vocabulary used.
Studies have clearly demonstrated that being exposed to modern spoken English in
real situations optimizes students’ motivation. Each video scene can be approached
from various points of view (narrative, vocabulary, grammar...), which allows for great
flexibility in the way they are used. As the course is structured by topic, the student can
focus on specific areas and make best use of the time available.

                       An invaluable teaching aid:
The videos were filmed in real companies. The professionals who are interviewed speak
freely about their work, their experiences and their companies. This collection is a great
fit for students of commercial, management and engineering universities.
