Do you have an educational background in business but want to gain a unique blend of strategic
management and international concepts to prepare you to lead and manage effectively in the global
business environment? If so, you may want to consider attending Centennial College’s Global Business
Management program.

This program, which is geared at mature learners, requires applicants to have completed a college
diploma or university degree in any discipline. In addition, they must also be able to provide proof of
English proficiency. Interested parties who possess partial post-secondary and relevant work experience
may also be considered. However, please note that a transcript and resume review is required.

But how exactly does the program help students to gain this global business perspective? First and
foremost, employed are teaching techniques such as guest speakers, external competitions, presentations
of research reports and industry visits. Secondly, because the Global Business Management program is
housed in Progress Campus — out of which many other Business School offerings are facilitated —
students have the opportunity to interact with their peers, network and gain insight into the professions
they may pursue. Thirdly, all Global Business Management courses are specific to the industry and
include: Global Business Research and Analysis, International Finance and Banking, Global Business
Seminars, Marketing, Ethics and Stakeholder Management, E-Business Strategy, Environmental
Stewardship and Sustainability, Global Business Strategy, International Development and more. Lastly,
students of Global Business Management are required to participate in a Capstone Project that challenges
them to apply what they’ve learned, by completing an integrated team project for a business client within
the Greater Toronto Area.

International students of the Global Business Management program who successfully complete the
undertaking may be eligible to apply for a work permit (up to three years) upon graduation.
