					Bachelor’s Degree Scholarships
Regis University

Regis University offers three bachelor’s degree scholarships to community
college transfer students seeking his or her initial bachelor degree. Non-U.S.
citizens and students with previous bachelors’ degrees are not eligible.

Community College Scholarship Program
Regis University offers one scholarship up to $5,000 each year (renewable for a second
year to total $10,000 each, but not to exceed tuition) to a student from each of the:
                              Colorado Community Colleges
                              Wyoming Community Colleges
                      Maricopa Community Colleges (1 scholarship)

To be eligible for a Community College Scholarship, a student will:
      • transfer a minimum of 60 semester hours; of these, 15
             semester hours must be earned at the community college in
             which the student is currently enrolled;
      • have earned a grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 or higher at
             the community college in which the student is currently
             enrolled;
      • demonstrate commitment to the community through
             community service/volunteer work;
      • apply for the scholarship by the deadline;
      • meet the admission requirements of the academic program
             the student wishes to pursue at Regis University;
      • enroll for a minimum of 6 credit hours each semester at
             Regis University.

Provost’s Community College Scholarship                                                        Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship

Please include the following two statements (one page each, maximum) with your application. Completed scholarship applications will be considered only for
those students who have applied and been accepted to an academic program at Regis University.
q Personal Statement: Please include a personal statement describing why you wish to continue your education at Regis University.
q Community Leadership and Service Statement: Please describe any community service activities in which you have participated and any academic honors you have
     earned. This includes specific positions and duties performed.
In addition to the above statements, please submit the following:
q Copy of Phi Theta Kappa membership certificate with ID number (for CPS students only if applying for the Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship)
q Official Transcripts ~ Please attach your transcripts, even if you have previously submitted transcripts with your application for admissions. Transcripts need to reflect
     the overall cumulative GPA while attending that community college. (Copies will NOT be accepted.)
q Two letters of recommendation. These can be from current or former employers, instructors/professors, and community service leaders.
      One recommendation should support the community service activities you write about in your scholarship application statement.
q A completed application for admission must be on file for the academic program you wish to pursue at Regis University.
*     Need-based financial aid is available in addition to Regis Scholarship programs. Applicants must complete the current year FAFSA application to be to eligible for federal
      and state grants, loans, and work programs. The Community College, Provost’s and Phi Theta Kappa Scholarships do not consider need as a primary factor.
*     The Community College, Provost’s and Phi Theta Kappa Scholarships may replace, but will not be awarded in addition to, other Regis University scholarships.
