Many people and couples struggle with fertility and look into a variety of ways to increase their chances
of conceiving. One way to increase these chances is to look into acupuncture for fertility. As we will
discuss, the acupuncture infertility link is very strong. If you too struggle with fertility, you have very
little to lose and giving acupuncture a try is a great idea. At worst, you will come out of it relaxed and
with your energy lines aligned properly, so why not give it a go?

In terms of acupuncture fertility is known to increase with just a few treatments. When we consider that
on average, one in six couples struggle with fertility, more and more people look for "miracle cures".
Acupuncture and infertility are very much linked, although for many, acupuncture is still some sort of
esoteric art that only works if you believe in it. The scientific community is now in agreement that there
is good reason as to why this form of treatment has been around for as long as it has.

Acupuncture for fertility is becoming increasingly popular. In fact, research from the University of
Maryland recently brought out a very interesting report. In it, it was suggested that when it comes to
acupuncture infertility can be reduced by 65%, particularly amongst couples who are going through the
IVF route. This is a significant increase in chance, more than what most women would class as worth a
go. In fact, many women will say that even if there is a 1% chance, they would give it a go, which goes to
show just how good acupuncture can work.

The acupuncture fertility study by the University of Maryland was very concise and informative. They
collated reports performed in different countries and regions on different types of couples. Not just
that, they also looked at different control groups. The first was on women who had been treated with
real acupuncture, the second on women who were treated with fake acupuncture and the last was on
women who were not treated at all.

This study revealed that the women in the group who were treated with real acupuncture had a 65%
higher success rate at getting pregnant than the other groups. This is definitive proof that acupuncture
and infertility are inextricably linked. So, if you, like many others, struggle with fertility issues,
acupuncture may be the way forward.
