                                                                                                                                                            Cebiche Mixto ($17) features fresh fish, baby octopus, calamari and
                                                                                                                                                            prawns. The Cebiche Chino-Peruano ($17) combines the flavors of
                                                                                                                                                            Chinese and Peruvian cooking with Ahi tuna, ginger, and a sauce that
                                                                                                                                                            includes both soy sauce and the traditional Rocoto red sauce. For the
                                                                                                                                                            adventurous palate, the Cebiche Maton ($17) is a blend of mussels,
                                                                                                                                                            clams and prawns in a spicy red sauce. Each Cebiche comes with a
                                                                                                                                                            delicious slice of sweet potato, a serving of choclo (traditional corn)
                                                                                                                                                            and cancha corn that is dried and roasted, resulting in a flavor that is
                                                                                                                                                            like popcorn for adults.
                                                                                                                                                               Paella, another traditional dish, is popular at La Costanera. Each
                                                                                                                                                            variation includes saffron rice and the exceptional flavors of Peru. The
                                                                                                                                                            Seafood Paella ($26) is a delicious combination of shrimp, mussels,
                                                                                                                                                            clams, calamari, and catch of the day, seasoned and blended on a tasty
                                                                                                                                                            bed of rice, covered with Rocoto sauce.
                                                                                                                                                               Other popular menu items include Lomo Saltado ($22), a stir fry
                                                                                                                                                            of beef tenderloin with onions, tomatoes, soy sauce, and papas al hilo
                                                                                                                                                            and Adobo ($22), a slow-cooked pork shoulder in Peruvian aji pan-
                                                                                                                                                            ca, aderezo, and Cuzqueña beer with potato-queso de cabra gratin
                                                                                                                                                            and spinach. And no Peruvian restaurant would be complete without
                                                                                                                                                            Empanadas. At La Costanera, customers find these pastries filled with
                                                                                                                                                            beef, fish, chicken, or chili-cheese, with prices ranging from $12 to $8,

                                                                                                                                                               Working six days a week, Carlos Altamirano can evenly divide his
