                 (RESTRUCTURING OF DURBAN TRANSPORT)
 Gross based, contract document for IRPTN Phase 0 Operations have been

  prepared with award planned for 01 July 2011. The contract duration is three
  years.

 The gross contract will be support by a fare revenue management contract.
  This contract will be award simultaneously with the Gross Contracts.           
 The Contract is structured to ensure compulsory participation by the minibus
  taxi and small bus operator industry.

 Negotiations with the Minibus Taxi Industry has commenced                      

  been appointed for IRPTN Phase 0. The business rules for the system has been

 124 New Bus Fleet of which 34 will be BRT buses. The first buses will arrive
  during the 1st quarter of 2012
