2012 Registration Information
The Lakeridge Youth Football Association would like to welcome you to the 2012
Season! We are already hard at work preparing for a sensational season. Head
Coaches will be selected in April/May.
As with last year, Registration will be conducted “On-Line” through our web site:
www.lakeridgeyouthfootball.org. You have the option to pay registration fees by credit
card or check. On-Line Registration commences with our Early Registration period
running from April 1st through May 15h. Our Standard Registration period will run
from May 16th through June 16th. We strongly encourage all interested families to
register at this early session as it will assist us in our planning process and help to
ensure a roster spot for your player. As team rosters fill up, we will place later
registrants on a waiting list. We want all Pacers to be able to play youth football and
will do our best to place all players on a team. However, league and organization
roster limits may not make this possible. So register as soon as possible. There are
also financial incentives for registering early.

EARLY REGISTRATION (April 1st – May 15th): $350 per player
STANDARD REGISTRATION (May 16th – June 16th): $425 per player
LATE REGISTRATION (After June 16th): $500 per player

PLEASE NOTE: Fees have not increased this year. However, we do want to provide some explanation
as to how the fees have been established. The results of our year-end parent surveys over the years
have been clear: respondents have overwhelmingly indicated a preference for higher fees in exchange
for the termination of our mandatory fundraising program. (Of course, we still gladly accept
voluntary contributions from the community to help offset the ever-increasing costs of operation).
Despite the absence of a mandatory fundraising program, LYF continues to offer a football program at
rates that are in the mid-range of the rates charged by other members of the Tualatin Valley Youth

Please note that the kids will be wearing white football pants again this year. If you
need to purchase pairs we will have them on sale during the gear draw on July 16th at
Lakeridge High School. We expect the cost to be around $39 per pair.
Gear draw will be on July 14th from 9:00am to noon at Lakeridge High School.
Please note that this year you must bring your “doctor signed”
medical waiver to the gear draw or you will not be able to
receive your helmet or shoulder pads! Your medical waiver can be
obtained when you register on-line. Please don’t delay getting the doctor’s
signature so that you can get your gear on time!
Please note your team will be required to assist in various tasks during the season
including field set up/clean up, work in the concession shack, organize team snacks,
etc. You can help make a great football season better by volunteering early!
Refunds will be made, less a $50.00 administrative fee, if requested prior to August
1st, 2012. If requested between August 1st and September 1st, full refunds will be made
less a $50.00 administrative fee and a $60.00 jersey fee. No refunds will be made after
September 1st, 2012 unless a player is not moved from a waiting list to a team by
September 7th, 2012.
Pacer Pride Youth Football Camp:
August 6th – 9th, 2012 at Lakeridge High School. The cost is $100 and attendance is
strongly encouraged as players will be evaluated for team placement during camp.
Pacer Pride Camp is run by Tom Smythe (Head Coach LHS) through the LOSD
Community School. This camp is an excellent way to start the season with positive
reinforcement of fundamentals and the development of new skills. Full attendance
will also fulfill 8 of the 10 hours of conditioning required before players may wear
gear during practices. Please sign up contacting Community School at

July 14th: Gear Draw at Lakeridge High School from 9:00am - noon
August 6th - 9th: Pacer Pride Youth Football Camp/Team Selection at LHS (NOTE:
some coaches may have a team practice on Friday, August 10th
following the camp days that week)
August 13th: Practice Begins for All Teams – Locations TBD (in pads)
August 18th: Pacer Football Celebration Day (getting the high school program and
the youth program together for BBQ, music, scrimmages and fun).

October 27th: Medal Games and last day of the Season for 3/4 graders
October 27th: Last regular season games for 5/6, JV and Varsity
