Welcome Friends,

On behalf of the Zachary Hebda Foundation, we want to thank the
leadership of the M5 Society and membership for sponsorship of the Black
& White Gala 2005. The foundation was created shortly after our son died
in June 1999. Since that time through the efforts of a small but very
dedicated volunteer group, the foundation has supported childhood cancer
research being conducted at Johns Hopkins University Hospital.

The research being conducted here locally by world-renowned
physicians and scientists is making a difference in clinical and treatment
plans. Out hope is that someday through the research funded by this event
and others, cancer will not be the devastating illness that it is today.

Sincerely,

         Joseph Hebda Kimberly Hebda
         Vice President President

                                  Auction Rules
All sales are final. No exchanges or refunds on auction items are permitted. All items
will be sold “AS IS”. Please read specifications of each item carefully.

Upon purchase the buyer waives any claim for liability against either the Zachery
Hebda Foundation or the donor of the property or services. Unless other wise

specified, dates and times for services or events are to be arranged at the mutual
convenience of the donor and the buyer.

All auction items must be paid for on September 23, 2005. The cashier will be open to
accept payment for both the silent action and the live auction following the close of the
live auction. Cash, personal checks, and VISA credit cards are the only forms of
payments for this event. Payment for auction items may be made anytime after 9:00 pm

amount of bid makes a “bid”. Each new bid is written on the next available line on the
bid sheet. Silent Auction bids will be disqualified if the required minimum raise is not
met or if the bidder number and amount cannot be determined. Bids added after the
bidding is announced “closed” will be not be accepted...

price and to reject any bid that is not commensurate with the value of the item.
To enter a bid, the bidder signals the auctioneer or spotter who relays the bid to the
auctioneer. The highest bidder acknowledged by the auctioneer will be the buyer. In
the event of a dispute the auctioneer has the sole and final discretion to determine the
successful bid or to re-offer and resell the item in dispute
