Another Blood and the False Prophet
Leviticus 17:11 says, "For the life of the flesh is in the blood... for it is the blood that
maketh atonement by reason of the life." We pass on our life and sin nature to our
children through the blood. Christ passes on His life and sinless nature through His
blood. So how do we get the nature of his blood in us? In Jn.6:53 Jesus said that we
have to drink it or we will not have life in us. How do we drink it? Let me explain by
using one of Jesus' signs. In some versions the word in Jn.2:11 is miracles but the
original word was signs. This shows us that there is a deeper meaning here. In Jn.2:1-
11 Jesus commanded the servants to fill the six (the number of man) waterpots of stone
(hardened clay vessels [man]) with water (the word [Eph.5:26]); then he turned it into
wine (the blood [Mt.26:27-29]). The moral of the story is that if we are consuming the
word of God, the Lord will turn it into the blood or nature of Christ. A clear confirmation
of this is stated in First John 1:7: "If we walk in the light (word) as he is in the light, we
have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus his son cleanseth us from all
sin." John 6:63 says, "The words that I have spoken unto you are spirit and are life."
So the word creates the blood (nature), which is the life. Then our words are spirit and
they have the power, if received, to manifest our life in others. "He that believeth on me,
as the scripture hath said, from within him shall flow rivers of living water (spirit words
[Jn.7:38]). The key then is receiving words "as the scripture hath said," that we may
pass on his words which recreate his blood (nature). Another word creates another
blood (nature). Have you not seen cult leaders pass on their nature by their words?
Have you not seen apostate Christian leaders pass on their spirit preaching another
Jesus, with a different gospel (2 Cor.11:4)? Proverbs 18:21 says, "Death and life are in
the power of the tongue; and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof."

A few years ago I had a dream that taught this. I was casting out demons in a church
when I noticed that the church building was all of woodwork. The columns, the walls,
everything was all wood grain; and it was all stained with blood. I said to the people, "I'm
going to prove to you that this is not the blood of Jesus." Then, addressing the blood, I
said, "Go in the name of Jesus"; and it disappeared. After this, I noticed on the pulpit a
note; it was fluttering as if to catch my attention. I knew that the pastor of this church
had left me the note about himself. It said, "I'm being groomed to be the Terre Delphi."

The interpretation is this: All the demons identified this as a Babylonish church
(Rev.18:2). The woodwork symbolized the human nature (2 Tim.2:20; Jer.5:14). The
blood on the wood is the nature of "another Jesus" given to the people through a
"different gospel" by an apostate leader with a "different spirit" (2 Cor.11:4). He is
coming to maturity as the Terre Delphi. Terre means earthly, Delphi was a town in
ancient Greece famous for the Temple of Apollo and the Delphic Oracle, the false
prophet of Apollo. Apollo was the Greek and Roman god of light, healing, prophecy,
music, and manly beauty. Obviously , he was a false Christ. The earthly false prophet is
in many pulpits reproducing after his own kind. Seek out your own salvation with fear
and trembling, and pray for the truth even if you think that you have it.

My oldest son had a dream. He and I were fishing, standing on the grass that was
growing up through a pond. As fast as we through in our hooks we would flip fish out on
the bank. We had no bait on our hooks.

Interpretation: Peter said, "All flesh is as grass." While the flesh was under our feet
(submitted to us), we were catching those who were under the flesh and putting them
on solid ground. We were also standing on the water, which is the Word (Epe.5:26).
Those under the grass were under a fleshly understanding of the Word. We were not
using bait as the worldly church does because that which attracts the flesh brings
people for the wrong reasons and then you have a church full of tares. Jesus said that
while men slept (having their eyes closed to the light) an enemy sowed tares among the
wheat.

Baiting the False Prophet & War
                                  David Eells - 2/28/08

(Eccl.3:15) That which is hath been long ago; and that which is to be hath long
ago been: and God seeketh again that which is passed away. Our modern day
revival of the Roman Empire, the U.S. over the United Nations, is doing exactly what
Constantine did to unite the earth. Those false prophets sat at Constantine’s table and a
modern day false prophet leadership will sit in the U.S. at the U.N. building in New York.

A modern equivalent has been happening for some years. Rev. Sun Myung Moon of the
UnificationChurch claims that Christ failed in His mission, and that he himself is the
"new messiah" who has come to finish the job and to 'unite the world through uniting
religious forces.' Almost all of the well-known evangelical 'Christian' leaders and their
organizations are beholden to him. He takes his work seriously and as a billionaire has
targeted these influential leaders with the hook and bait of bailouts, grants, political
power, prestige, etc. He brings them what they lust for while unifying them through his
related organizations: the Council of National Policy, the Coalition for Religious
Freedom, the 'Council of 56 of the Religious Roundtable' and others.

It is here that he associates them with the leadership of the Central Intelligence Agency,
the Council for Foreign Relations, the Trilateral Commission, Freemasonry; all closely
tied to the Bilderbergers. This shadow government is joining the leaders of apostate
religions together as a false prophet of unity to masses of Christians who don’t know
they as a harlot are being sold into bondage to the beast. History repeats as the
apostate leaders are set at Constantine's round table to build an end time Catholic
(Universal) Church. In like manner, Babylon took the leadership of God's people captive
and made a covenant with them. (Ezk.17:12) Say no to the rebellious house…
Behold, the king of Babylon came to Jerusalem, and took the king thereof, and
the princes thereof, and brought them to him to Babylon... (13) and he took of the
seed royal, and made a covenant with him... (We will look at this 7-year covenant in
detail in chapter 15 of our book Hidden Manna.) Notice that the whole False Prophet
leadership is called “him,” as a corporate body. The nations with Babylonish U.S. “great
eagle”at the head bait and hook this false prophet leadership of God’s New Testament
people into a covenant with the other false religions under the U.N. (Ezk.19:8) Then the
nations set against him on every side from the provinces; and they spread their
net over him; he was taken in their pit. (9) And they put him in a cage with hooks,
and brought him to the king of Babylon…

How do these 'great men of God' justify taking a bribe to be associated with a known
antichrist? In the beginning one of them said, "If the American Atheists Society or
Saddam Hussein himself ever sent an unrestricted gift to any of my ministries, be
assured I will operate on Billy Sunday's philosophy: 'The Devil's had it long enough, and
quickly cash the check.'" Of course Jesus, Whom we aught to be quoting, turned the
devil down when offered the same thing. More recently this man said that Moon is "An
unsung hero to the cause of freedom, who is to be commended for his determination
and courage and endurance in support of his beliefs." One congressman who was in
their council proudly said of their political power in the '80s, "I predict that one day
before the end of this century the Council [for National Policy] will be so influential that
no President, regardless of party or philosophy, will be able to ignore us or our concerns
or shut us out of the highest levels of government." You see, their lust for money and
political power will be undoing of them and their followers.

{2 Cor. 6:17} Wherefore Come ye out from among them, and be ye separate, saith
the Lord, And touch no unclean thing; And I will receive you. These major groups
are joining house to house and woe be unto those true disciples who are found on the
outside looking in. {Isa.5:8} Woe unto them that join house to house, that lay field
to field, till there be no room, and ye be made to dwell alone in the midst of the
land! {9} In mine ears [saith] Jehovah of hosts, Of a truth many houses shall be
desolate (without God), even great and fair, without inhabitant. The question is what
happens to the disciples who have "Come ye out from among them" and are "alone
in the midst of the land"? Moon threatened these loners on August 4, 1996 saying,
"Americans who continue to maintain their privacy and extreme individualism are foolish
people... The world will reject Americans who continue to be so foolish. Once you have
this great power of love, which is big enough to swallow entire America, there may be
some individuals who complain inside your stomach. However, they will be digested." A
strange thing is that the Senate investigation into the ministries that have obviously
plundered God's people doesn't seem to include anyone in the organizations above,
even though they are also guilty of this. Do you suppose they are being "digested"?
They are making an example and sending a message. Maybe they will join now.

It appears that they will attempt to digest us too. In the few days that I was preparing the
above research I received a dream from a sister in Singapore, whose dreams have
been very accurate and did not know I was researching this. It was confirmed to be from
God three times. Here is a portion of it: "I saw people had papers and they were
registering to enter David's university which was called "The University of God's
Refuge." I also saw people pulling out their children and grandchildren from the worldly
universities and joining The University of God's Refuge. I heard the conversation of a
man and his pastor who had followed him there. This pastor was full gospel and he was
telling this man not to pull out from his church and go to David’s university. He said that
David’s university had no looks, no education, no credentials, no accreditations and
basically he and his university were "UNKNOWN." (Jesus first came as an unknown
and His credentials were questioned. (Jn.7:15) The Jews therefore marvelled,
saying, How knoweth this man letters, having never learned? Meaning, 'He didn't
get His degree or credentials at our BibleCollege and He has no beautiful looking
synagogue or temple so we don't accredit Him.') But the man told this pastor that David
taught things from the Word of God which he had never heard before. This full gospel
pastor was very angry… and I saw him call many other pastors one by one and ask
whether they knew David Eells. They too had never heard of him and were also angry
that he was stealing theirsheep. I heard what seemed like a council of pastors who were
against David. They were arranging to go against him and his ministry." Could this
symbolize the Council of the Religious Roundtable?

An assortment of other ecumenical movements are working on the whole religious world
to bring this unity to pass. The United Religions Initiative (U.R.I.) is putting together a
U.N. of all religions worldwide called the United Religions (U.R.) in their hope of bringing
peace. Like Constantine, George W. Bush, along with influential people like billionaire
George Soros, the Dalai Lama, and Rev. Sun Myung Moon, have thrown their weight
behind the U.R. All of this is in preparation for a U.S./U.N./U.R. Roman Empire. The
World Conference on Religion and Peace (W.C.R.P.) is another such ecumenical
organization. The World Council of Churches (W.C.C.) is an ecumenical consortium of
apostate Christian denominations. These large organizations are making preparations
for a one-world harlot. This uniting of religions in one covenant will become official when
the beast “shall make a firm covenant with many for one week.”

The Millennium World Peace Summit at the United Nations from August 28th through
31st, 2000, was said to “form a permanent council of religious leaders to advise the
U.N. on preventing and settling disputes.” There it is! Exactly whatConstantine did the
U.S./U.N. is doing. 1000 of the world’s leading religious and spiritual figures were there.
Representatives of Judaism, Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, Sikhism, Shintoism,
Spiritism, Taoism, Jainism, Buddhism, Zoroastrianism, Confucianism and indigenous
religions were there. Notice there are 13, which is the number of rebellion and apostasy.
These call themselves “The World Council of Religious Leaders.” This is leading to the
head of the corporate false prophet beast in Revelation 13:11 and their body is the
puppets in the pulpits. In Jesus’ day the head was the Sanhedrin, a corporate false
prophet, which ruled over the body of apostate religious leaders of the harlotIsrael.
Ahab ruled the northern 10 apostate tribes as a type of the beast kingdom. Under him,
Jezebel, the harlot, ruledIsrael by 850 false prophets. In this same way the
U.S./U.N./U.R. covenant will empower the first one-world religious harlot in an attempt
to control the peoples of the world. (Rev.17:15)…The waters which thou sawest,
where the harlot sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues.

Children Are Targets of Nigerian Witch Hunt
Evangelical pastors are helping to create a terrible new campaign of violence against
young Nigerians. Children and babies branded as evil are being abused, abandoned
and even murdered while the preachers make money out of the fear of their parents and
their communities.

The rainy season is over and the Niger Delta is lush and humid. This southern edge of
West Africa, where Nigeria's wealth pumps out of oil and gas fields to bypass millions of
its poorest people, is a restless place. In the small delta state of Akwa Ibom, the tension
and the poverty has delivered an opportunity for a new and terrible phenomenon that is
leading to the abuse and the murder of hundreds, perhaps thousands, of children. And it
is being done in the name of Christianity.

Almost everyone goes to church here. Driving through the town of Esit Eket, the rust-
streaked signs, tarpaulins hung between trees and posters on boulders, advertise a
church for every third or fourth house along the road. Such names as New Testament
Assembly, Church of God Mission, Mount Zion Gospel, Glory of God, Brotherhood of
the Cross, Redeemed, Apostalistic. Behind the smartly painted doors pastors make a
living by 'deliverances' - exorcisms - for people beset by witchcraft, something seen to
cause anything from divorce, disease, accidents or job losses. With so many churches
it's a competitive market, but by local standards a lucrative one.

But an exploitative situation has now grown into something much more sinister as
preachers are turning their attentions to children - naming them as witches. In a
maddened state of terror, parents and whole villages turn on the child. They are burnt,
poisoned, slashed, chained to trees, buried alive or simply beaten and chased off into
the bush.

Some parents scrape together sums needed to pay for a deliverance - sometimes as
much as three or four months' salary for the average working man - although the pastor
will explain that the witch might return and a second deliverance will be needed. Even if
the parent wants to keep the child, their neighbours may attack it in the street.

This is not just a few cases. This is becoming commonplace. In Esit Eket, up a
nameless, puddled-and-potholed path is a concrete shack stuffed to its fetid rafters with
roughly made bunk beds. Here, three to a bed like battery chickens, sleep victims of the
besuited Christian pastors and their hours-long, late-night services. Ostracised and
abandoned, these are the children a whole community believes fervently are witches.
Sam Ikpe-Itauma is one of the few people in this area who does not believe what the
evangelical 'prophets' are preaching. He opened his house to a few homeless waifs he
came across, and now he tries his best to look after 131.

'The neighbours were not happy with me and tell me "you are supporting witches". This
project was an accident, I saw children being abandoned and it was very worrying. I
started with three children, then every day it increased up to 15, so we had to open this
new place,' he says. 'For every maybe five children we see on the streets, we believe
one has been killed, although it could be more as neighbours turn a blind eye when a
witch child disappears.

'It is good we have this shelter, but it is under constant attack.' As he speaks two
villagers walk past, at the end of the yard, pulling scarfs across their eyes to hide the
'witches' from their sight.

Ikpe-Itauma's wife, Elizabeth, acts as nurse to the injured children and they have called
this place the Child Rights and Rehabilitation Network, a big name for a small refuge. It
has found support from a charity running a school in the area, Stepping Stones Nigeria,
which is trying to help with money to feed the children, but the numbers turning up here
are a huge challenge.

Mary Sudnad, 10, grimaces as her hair is pulled into corn rows by Agnes, 11, but the
scalp just above her forehead is bald and blistered. Mary tells her story fast, in staccato,
staring fixedly at the ground.

'My youngest brother died. The pastor told my mother it was because I was a witch.
Three men came to my house. I didn't know these men. My mother left the house. Left
these men. They beat me.' She pushes her fists under her chin to show how her father
lay, stretched out on his stomach on the floor of their hut, watching. After the beating
there was a trip to the church for 'a deliverance'.

A day later there was a walk in the bush with her mother. They picked poisonous 'asiri'
berries that were made into a draught and forced down Mary's throat. If that didn't kill
her, her mother warned her, then it would be a barbed-wire hanging. Finally her mother
threw boiling water and caustic soda over her head and body, and her father dumped
his screaming daughter in a field. Drifting in and out of consciousness, she stayed near
the house for a long time before finally slinking off into the bush. Mary was seven. She
says she still doesn't feel safe. She says: 'My mother doesn't love me.' And, finally, a
tear streaks down her beautiful face.

Gerry was picked out by a 'prophetess' at a prayer night and named as a witch. His
mother cursed him, his father siphoned petrol from his motorbike tank and spat it over
his eight-year-old face. Gerry's facial blistering is as visible as the trauma in his dull
eyes. He asks every adult he sees if they will take him home to his parents: 'It's not
them, it's the prophetess, I am scared of her.'
Nwaeka is about 16. She sits by herself in the mud, her eyes rolling, scratching at her
stick-thin arms. The other children are surprisingly patient with her. The wound on her
head where a nail was driven in looks to be healing well. Nine- year-old Etido had nails,
too, five of them across the crown of his downy head. Its hard to tell what damage has
been done. Udo, now 12, was beaten and abandoned by his mother. He nearly lost his
arm after villagers, finding him foraging for food by the roadside, saw him as a witch and
hacked at him with machetes.

Magrose is seven. Her mother dug a pit in the wood and tried to bury her alive. Michael
was found by a farmer clearing a ditch, starving and unable to stand on legs that had
been flogged raw.

Ekemini Abia has the look of someone in a deep state of shock. Both ankles are circled
with gruesome wounds and she moves at a painful hobble. Named as a witch, her
father and elders from the church tied her to a tree, the rope cutting her to the bone, and
left the 13-year-old there alone for more than a week.

There are sibling groups such as Prince, four, and Rita, nine. Rita told her mum she had
dreamt of a lovely party where there was lots to eat and to drink. The belief is that a
witch flies away to the coven at night while the body sleeps, so Rita's sweet dream was
proof enough: she was a witch and because she had shared food with her sibling - the
way witchcraft is spread - both were abandoned. Victoria, cheeky and funny, aged four,
and her seven-year-old sister Helen, a serene little girl. Left by their parents in the shell
of an old shack, the girls didn't dare move from where they had been abandoned and
ate leaves and grass.

The youngest here is a baby. The older girls take it in turn to sling her on their skinny
hips and Ikpe-Itauma has named her Amelia, after his grandmother. He estimates
around 5,000 children have been abandoned in this area since 1998 and says many
bodies have turned up in the rivers or in the forest. Many more are never found. 'The
more children the pastor declares witches, the more famous he gets and the more
money he can make,' he says. 'The parents are asked for so much money that they will
pay in installments or perhaps sell their property. This is not what churches should be
doing.'

Although old tribal beliefs in witch doctors are not so deeply buried in people's
memories, and although there had been indigenous Christians in Nigeria since the 19th
century, it is American and Scottish Pentecostal and evangelical missionaries of the
past 50 years who have shaped these fanatical beliefs. Evil spirits, satanic possessions
and miracles can be found aplenty in the Bible, references to killing witches turn up in
Exodus, Deuteronomy and Galatians, and literal interpretation of scriptures is a popular
crowd-pleaser.

Pastor Joe Ita is the preacher at Liberty Gospel Church in nearby Eket. 'We base our
faith on the Bible, we are led by the holy spirit and we have a programme of exposing
false religion and sorcery.' Soft of voice and in his smart suit and tie, his church is being
painted and he apologises for having to sit outside near his shiny new Audi to talk.
There are nearly 60 branches of Liberty Gospel across the Niger Delta. It was started by
a local woman, mother-of-two Helen Ukpabio, whose luxurious house and expensive
white Humvee are much admired in the city of Calabar where she now lives. Many
people in this area credit the popular evangelical DVDs she produces and stars in with
helping to spread the child witch belief.

Ita denies charging for exorcisms but acknowledges his congregation is poor and has to
work hard to scrape up the donations the church expects. 'To give more than you can
afford is blessed. We are the only ones who really know the secrets of witches. Parents
don't come here with the intention of abandoning their children, but when a child is a
witch then you have to say "what is that there? Not your child." The parents come to us
when they see manifestations. But the secret is that, even if you abandon your child, the
curse is still upon you, even if you kill your child the curse stays. So you have to come
here to be delivered afterwards as well,' he explains patiently.

'We know how they operate. A witch will put a spell on its mother's bra and the mother
will get breast cancer. But we cannot attribute all things to witches, they work on
inclinations too, so they don't create HIV, but if you are promiscuous then the witch will
give you HIV.'

As the light fades, he presents a pile of Ukpabio's DVDs. Mistakenly thinking they are a
gift, I am firmly put right.

Later that night, in another part of town, the hands of the clock edge towards midnight.
The humidity of the day is sealed into the windowless church and drums pound along
with the screeching of the sweat-drenched preacher. 'No witches, oh Lord,' he screams
into the microphone. 'As this hour approaches, save us, oh Lord!'

His congregation is dancing, palms aloft, women writhe and yell in tongues. A group
moves forward shepherding five children, one a baby, and kneel on the concrete floor
and the pastor comes among them, pressing his hands down on each child's head in
turn, as they try to hide in the skirts of the woman. This is deliverance night at the
Church of the True Redeemer, and while the service will carry on for some hours, the
main event - for which the parents will have paid cash - is over.

Walking out into the night, the drums and singing from other churches ring out as such
scenes are being repeated across the village.

It is hard to find people to speak out against the brutality. Chief Victor Ikot is one. He not
only speaks out against the 'tinpot' churches, but has also done the unthinkable and
taken in a witch to his own home. The chief's niece, Mbet, was declared a witch when
she was eight. Her mother, Ekaete, made her drink olive oil, then poison berries, then
invited local men to beat her with sticks. The pastor padlocked her to a tree but
unlocked her when her mother could not find the money for a deliverance. Mbet fled.
Mbet, now 11, says she has not seen the woman since, adding: 'My mother is a wicked
mother.'

The Observer tracked down Mbet's mother to her roadside clothing stall where she
nervously fiddled with her mobile phone and told us how her daughter had given her
what sounded very much like all the symptoms of malaria. 'I had internal heat,' she
says, indicating her stomach. 'It was my daughter who had caused this, she drew all the
water from my body. I could do nothing. She was stubborn, very stubborn.' And if her
daughter had died in the bush? She shrugged: 'That is God's will. It is in God's hands.'

Chief Victor has no time for his sister-in-law. 'Nowadays when a child becomes
stubborn, then everyone calls them witches. But it is usually from the age of 10 down, I
have never seen anyone try to throw a macho adult into the street. This child becomes
a nuisance, so they give a dog a bad name and they can hang it.

'It is alarming because no household is untouched. But it is the greed of the pastors,
driving around in Mercedes, that makes them choose the vulnerable.'

In a nearby village The Observer came across five-year-old twins, Itohowo and Kufre.
They are still hanging around close to their mother's shack, but are obviously
malnourished and in filthy rags. Approaching the boys brings a crowd of villagers who
stand around and shout: 'Take them away from us, they are witches.' 'Take them away
before they kill us all.' 'Witches'.

The woman who gave birth to these sorry scraps of humanity stands slightly apart from
the crowd, arms crossed. Iambong Etim Otoyo has no intention of taking any
responsibility for her sons. 'They are witches,' she says firmly and walks away.

And by nightfall there are 133 children in the chicken coop concrete house at Esit Eket.

                             Oprah's False Christ
"Oprah and Friends" to teach course on New Age Christ
By Warren Smith - November 2007
See also The twisted "truths" of The Shack & A Course in Miracles
and From God's Truth to the "New Spirituality"

Oprah Winfrey will be letting out all the stops on her XM Satellite Radio program this
coming year. Beginning January 1, 2008, “Oprah & Friends” will offer a year-long course
on the New Age teachings of A Course in Miracles.1 A lesson a day throughout the year
will completely cover the 365 lessons from the Course in Miracles “Workbook.”
For example, Lesson #29 asks you to go through your day affirming that “God is in
everything I see.”2 Lesson #61 tells each person to repeat the affirmation “I am the
light of the world.”3 Lesson #70 teaches the student to say and believe “My salvation
comes from me.”4

By the end of the year, “Oprah & Friends” listeners will have completed all of the
lessons laid out in the Course in Miracles Workbook. Those who finish the Course will
have a wholly redefined spiritual mindset—a New Age worldview that includes the belief
that there is no sin, no evil, no devil, and that God is “in” everyone and everything. A
Course in Miracles teaches its students to rethink everything they believe about God
and life. The Course Workbook bluntly states: “This is a course in mind training”5
and is dedicated to “thought reversal.”6

Teaching A Course in Miracles will be Oprah’s longtime friend and special XM Satellite
Radio reporter Marianne Williamson—who also happens to be one of today’s premier
New Age leaders. She and Conversations with God author Neale Donald Walsch co-
founded the American Renaissance Alliance in 1997, that later became the Global
Renaissance Alliance of New Age leaders, that changed its name again in 2005 to the
Peace Alliance. This Peace Alliance seeks to usher in an era of global peace founded
on the principles of a New Age/New Spirituality that they are now referring to as a “civil
rights movement for the soul.”7 They all agree that the principles of this New Age/New
Spirituality are clearly articulated in A Course in Miracles—which is fast becoming the
New Age Bible. So what is A Course in Miracles and what does it teach?

A Course in Miracles is allegedly “new revelation” from “Jesus” to help humanity work
through these troubled times. This “Jesus”—who bears no doctrinal resemblance to the
Bible’s Jesus Christ—began delivering his channeled teachings in 1965 to a Columbia
University Professor of Medical Psychology by the name of Helen Schucman.

One day Schucman heard an “inner voice” stating, “This is a course in miracles. Please
take notes.”8 For seven years she diligently took spiritual dictation from this inner voice
that described himself as “Jesus.” A Course in Miracles was quietly published in 1975
by the Foundation for Inner Peace. For many years “the Course” was an underground
cult classic for New Age seekers who studied “the Course” individually, with friends, or
in small study groups.

As a former New Age follower and devoted student of A Course in Miracles, I eventually
discovered that the Course in Miracles was—in reality—the truth of the Bible turned
upside down. Not having a true understanding of the Bible at the time of my
involvement, I was led to believe that A Course in Miracles was “a gift from God” to help
everyone understand the “real” meaning of the Bible and to help bring peace to the
world. Little did I know that the New Age “Christ” and the New Age teachings of A
Course in Miracles were everything the real Jesus Christ warned us to watch out for. In
Matthew 24 Jesus warned about false teachers, false teachings and the false “Christs”
who would pretend to be He.
When I left the New Age “Christ” to follow the Bible’s Jesus Christ, I had come to
understand that the “Jesus” of A Course in Miracles was a false “Christ,” and that his
Course in Miracles was dangerously deceptive. Here are some quotes from the “Jesus”
of A Course in Miracles:

    “There is no sin. . . " 9 [See note]
    A “slain Christ has no meaning.”10
 “The journey to the cross should be the last ‘useless journey.”11
 “Do not make the pathetic error of ‘clinging to the old rugged cross.’”12
 “The Name of Jesus Christ as such is but a symbol... It is a symbol that is safely
used as a replacement for the many names of all the gods to which you
       pray.”13
    “God is in everything I see.”14
 “The recognition of God is the recognition of yourself.”15
 “The oneness of the Creator and the creation is your wholeness, your sanity and
       your limitless power.”16
 “The Atonement is the final lesson he [man] need learn, for it teaches him that,
never having sinned, he has no need of salvation.”17

Most Christians recognize that these teachings are the opposite of what the Bible
teaches. In the Bible, Jesus Christ’s atoning death on the cross of Calvary was hardly a
“useless journey.” His triumph on the cross provides salvation to all those who confess
their sin, accept Him and follow Him as their Lord and Saviour. His victory on the cross
rings throughout the New Testament. It has been gloriously sung about in beloved
hymns through the ages and is at the heart of our Christian testimony.

I found the Jesus of the Bible to be wholly believable as He taught God’s truth and
warned about the spiritual deception that would come in His name. The “Jesus” of A
Course in Miracles reveals himself to be an imposter when he blasphemes the true
Jesus Christ by saying that a “slain Christ has no meaning” and that we are all “God”
and that we are all “Christ.” It was by reading the Bible’s true teachings of Jesus Christ
that I came to understand how deceived I had been by A Course in Miracles and my
other New Age teachings.

I was introduced to A Course in Miracles by Dr. Gerald Jampolsky’s book Love is
Letting Go of Fear. Jampolsky declared in his easy-to-read book how the teachings of A
Course in Miracles had changed his life. As an ambassador for A Course in Miracles
over the years, Jampolsky has been featured not only in New Age circles but at least
twice on Robert Schuller’s Hour of Power. While Schuller introduced Jampolsky and his
“fabulous”18 Course in Miracles-based books to his worldwide television audience, it
was Marianne Williamson’s appearance on a 1992 Oprah Winfrey Show that really
shook the rafters.

On that program, Oprah enthusiastically endorsed Williamson’s book, A Return to Love:
Reflections on the Principles of A Course in Miracles. Oprah told her television audience
that Williamson’s book about A Course in Miracles was one of her favorite books, and
that she had already bought a thousand copies and would be handing them out to
everyone in her studio audience. Oprah’s endorsement skyrocketed Williamson’s book
about A Course in Miracles to the top of the New York Times bestseller list. Ironically, all
of this was happening after I had left the Course and the New Age. In fact, I was doing
the final editing on my book The Light That Was Dark that warned about the dangers of
the New Age—and in particular A Course in Miracles.

After being introduced to the world on Oprah, Marianne Williamson has continued to
grow in popularity and, as previously mentioned, has become one of today’s foremost
New Age leaders. Williamson credits Winfrey for bringing her book about A Course in
Miracles before the world: “For that, my deepest thanks to Oprah Winfrey. Her
enthusiasm and generosity have given the book, and me, an audience we would never
otherwise have had.”19 In her 2004 book, The Gift of Change, Williamson wrote:

“Twenty years ago, I saw the guidance of the Course as key to changing one’s personal
life; today, I see its guidance as key to changing the world. More than anything else, I
see how deeply the two are connected.”20

Thus the New Age teachings of A Course in Miracles are about to be taught by
Marianne Williamson to millions of listeners on Oprah’s XM Satellite Radio program.
Listeners are encouraged to buy A Course in Miracles for the year-long course. An
audio version of A Course in Miracles recited by Richard (John Boy Walton) Thomas is
also available on compact disc.

Popular author Wayne Dyer told his PBS television audience that the “brilliant writing” of
A Course in Miracles would produce more peace in the world.21 Williamson’s New Age
colleague, Neale Donald Walsch, said his “God” stated that “the era of the Single
Saviour is over”22 and that he (“God”) was responsible for authoring the teachings of
A Course in Miracles.23

Meanwhile, Gerald Jampolsky’s Course in Miracles-based book, Forgiveness, continues
to be sold in Robert Schuller’s Crystal Cathedral bookstore as Schuller prepares to host
a January 17-19, 2008, “Rethink Conference” at his Crystal Cathedral.24

At this critical time in the history of the world, the New Gospel/New Spirituality is coming
right at the world and the church with its New Age teachings and its New Age Peace
Plan. But this New Age Peace Plan has at its deceptive core the bottom-line teaching
from A Course in Miracles that “we are all one” because God is “in” everyone and
everything. But the Bible is clear that we are not God (Ezekiel 28:2; Hosea 11:9). And
per Galatians 3:26-28, our only oneness is in Jesus Christ—not in ourselves as “God”
and “Christ.” What Oprah and Marianne Williamson and the world will learn one day is
that humanity’s only real and lasting peace is with the true Jesus Christ who is
described and quoted in the Holy Bible (Romans 5:1).

Oprah Winfrey’s misplaced faith in Marianne Williamson and the New Age teachings of
A Course in Miracles is a sure sign of the times. But an even surer sign of the times is
that most Christians are not taking heed to what is happening in the world and in the
church. We are not contending for the faith as the Bible admonishes us to do (Jude 3).

It is time for all of our Purpose-Driven and Emerging church pastors to address the real
issue of the day. Our true Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ is being reinvented,
redefined, and blasphemed right in front of our eyes and hardly anyone seems to
notice or care. If we want the world to know who Jesus Christ is, we need to also warn
them about who He is not. There is a false New Age “Christ” making huge inroads into
the world and into the church. The Apostle Paul said that “it is a shame” we have to
even talk about these things, but talk about them we must (Ephesians 5:12-16).

If people want to follow Oprah Winfrey and the New Age “Christ” of A Course in
Miracles they certainly have that right. But let them be warned that the New Age “Christ”
they are following is not the same Jesus Christ who is so clearly and authoritatively
presented in the pages of the Bible.

A COURSE IN MIRACLES - A CIA MANIPULATION DEVICE?
from TAL - Jason Bishop III Research Services: June 11, 2007
(QUOTE): 'Creating a mythos' to control people.........Program of psychological warfare
(PSYOP) or 'Mind War'........Using FALSE information to manipulate and control
people......
A Course in Miracles (also referred to as ACIM or "the Course") (originally published in
1975) is a book considered by its students to be their "spiritual path."
According to Dr. Helen Schucman and the Foundation for Inner Peace (FIP), Dr. Helen
Schucman and Dr. William Thetford "scribed" the book by means of a process
coming from a divine source through a form of channeling which Schucman referred to
as "inner dictation." Schucman described the divine source of her channeling as none
other than the person of Jesus Christ. Well.....Dr. William Thetford, headed the
CIA's "Mind Control" MK-ULTRA SubProject 130: Personality Theory, while at
Columbia University between 1971 - 1978. Dr. Thetford's Professional Bio, also
available on the A Course in Miracles web site, makes reference to his involvement in a
Personality Theory Research Project while Professor of Medical Psychology at
Columbia University, but the information does not specifically cite this as a CIA MK-
ULTRA SubProject.

There is a connection between Unity Church, "A Course In Miracles," MK-ULTRA
Artichoke Subproject 130, Scientology, the UFO Myth and the Stanford Research
Institute. "A Course in Miracles" was a CIA manipulation device. It was an
experiment orchestrated by the CIA/US government. Many were DAMAGED by it.
It was implemented by Bill Thetford (an agent of the CIA) at Columbia University.
Search for info on Thetford and MK-Ultra (the government's well-documented mind-
control program) to find more. The agenda, according to those interested in this
sphere of investigation, is to infiltrate and dilute the American left with New Age
ideas and inward-focused, anti-rational religious movements.
The Making of "A Course in Miracles"
excerpt from: http://www.beliefnet.com/story/148/story_14870_3.html
William Thetford, also a Columbia professor, was a mysterious character and "probably
the most sinister person I ever met," the priest recalled. Only after he retired from
teaching did Thetford's Columbia colleagues (who knew him best as a rare-books
expert) discover that all during the years they worked with him, the man had been
employed as an agent of the CIA -- one who was, among other things, present at the
first fission experiment conducted by physicists assigned to the Manhattan Project.
Thetford also was "the most religious atheist I have ever known," Groeschel recalled,
and conceived a great enthusiasm for A Course in Miracles, personally arranging for its
publication. Schucman was embarrassed, Groeschel remembered, and confided to the
priest her fear that the book would create a cult, which of course it did.
Groeschel initially read the Course as "religious poetry," but grew steadily more
negative in his assessment of it as the years passed and sales of the three volumes
passed into the millions of copies. From his point of view, A Course in Miracles served
to undermine authentic Christianity more effectively than just about any other work he
could recall, and while he was inclined to reject the position of St. John of the Cross that
"these things are diabolical unless proven otherwise", doubts had crept in over the
years. Most troubling to him by far was the "black hole of rage and depression that
Schucman fell into during the last two years of her life," the priest explained. She had
become frightening to be with, Groeschel recalled, spewing psychotic hatred not only for
A Course in Miracles but "for all things spiritual." When he sat at Schucman's bedside
as she lay dying, "she cursed, in the coarsest barroom language you could imagine,
'that book, that goddam book.' She said it was the worst thing that ever happened to
her. I mean, she raised the hair on the back of my neck. It was truly terrible to witness."

                           The Coming False Prophet
Philip Sapp had a dream on 02/23/05.

"I was at the Pope's funeral and there was a large whited sepulcher with the inscription
on it, "IN MEMORY OF THE SPIRIT OF PROPHECY."

Interpretation by David:

Naturally speaking, with the Pope's death will be lost the rest of "the testimony (Greek:
witness) of Jesus (which) is the spirit of Prophecy" (Rev.19:10). In other words, with
the death of a Pope who has had a remnant of the witness of Jesus will come a new
Pope who will be devoid even of that.

This natural revelation is just a parable of the spiritual one.

The Catholic (universal) Church was the product of uniting apostate "Christianity" with
all the pagan religions under the head of the Roman Empire Constantine.
A greater world wide corporate body Pope is being raised up under the Revived Roman
Empire, the U.N. This new leadership over the new Universal Church, which is the
United Religions (U.R.), will become totally reprobate of all that is Jesus.

The continuing spiritual death of this apostate leadership of the spiritual, universal
church will bring in a spiritual resurrection of the corporate False Prophet in them. Any
remnants of the witness of Jesus or spirit of the prophecies of the Word will be dead in
them. The "whited sepulcher" represents that which is appearing holy on the outside but
dead on the inside. (Mt.23:27) Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for
ye are like unto whited sepulchers, which outwardly appear beautiful, but
inwardly are full of dead men's bones, and of all uncleanness.

This wicked leadership will be totally blind to the real Jesus and so will not recognize
His true witnesses whom they will persecute and kill. (Rev.20:4) And I saw thrones,
and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and [I saw] the souls
of them that had been beheaded for the testimony (Witness) of Jesus, and for the
word of God, and such as worshipped not the beast, neither his image, and
received not the mark upon their forehead and upon their hand; and they lived,
and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

                              The False Prophet
Experience and the word have taught me concerning prophecy that if the majority of
God's people believe something, it must be wrong. God hides his truths in dreams or
visions that are parables so that the false prophets and carnal Christians cannot see
them (MT 13:10-13) but privately he explains them to his disciples (Followers MK
4:33,34). He hides things from the wise and understanding (of this apostate religious
system) and reveals them to babes (Lk 10:21). Overcomers get to partake of the hidden
manna (Rev 2:17)(Pr 25:2). John's Revelation was given to him as a parable of Jesus. If
it were literal the false prophets would know what is going to happen and that is contrary
to Jesus' own words. When the disciples were young and under the law they did not
recognize the false prophets. As a matter of fact, they respected them! So it is today! I
want to show you who have eyes and ears who the false prophet is and what is his
work. The False Prophet is a corporate body of religious leaders that to the trained eye
resemble those of Jesus' day. In all of Jesus, Peter, and John's writings outside of the
book of Revelation the warning is that false prophets (plural) would come. In Revelation
false prophet (singular) is used, but in an allegory. Since Jesus said in the end time (MT
24:14) many false prophets shall arise (v-11,24) then the false prophet in Revelation is
a symbol of a corporate body like the rest of the characters are. It's the only way that
Jesus and John can both be right. You might say "David, aren't you sharing the secrets
with the false prophets?" Have no fear, they are too proud to admit they have passed on
the lie of the traditions of men and repent. Moses prophesied the coming of the true
prophet and the false prophet (DT 18:15-22). The true prophet is of course the Son of
God Jesus Christ. He is the spirit (1 Cor 15:45) and head of his body the Church which
is female (Epe 5:23). Jesus' headship is manifest physically through the 5-fold ministry
(Epe 4:11). The senses of the head correspond to the ministers. Example: Prophet-eyes
(Isa 29:10) - Evangelist-mouth (ministry to those outside the body) - Teacher-ears (1 K
3:9,12 understanding=Heb hearing see also 10:3). It takes the 5-fold ministry to raise up
others into the head (Epe 4:15). These days because of the Nicolaitan error which
Jesus hates (Rev 2:6,15), the pastor usurps the authority of the rest of the 5-fold
ministry. Just as the spirit of Christ is manifest through men to lead his body, the church,
the spirit of antichrist (1 Jn 4:3) is manifest through men (false prophet) to lead his body
the harlot. The false prophet has a female body also, the harlot. Christ sows his seed
(Greek: sperma-the word Mt 13:18-23) in his body and the false prophet in his. In Rev
13:11 we see the head of the false prophet with "two horns like unto a lamb, and he
spake (see also 13:5) as a dragon" (beast). In verse 15 we see the body (harlot) of the
false prophet. "And it was given to her to give spirit to the image of the beast." Bible
numerics shows a perfect pattern for "her" in the ancient manuscripts and in the most
accurate new testament, the Numeric English New Testament by Ivan Panin. There is
no pattern in "he" or "it". Numerics show beyond a shadow of a doubt which manuscript
is right and where. Let me show another way. In 1 K 18, Ahab represents the beast with
ten horns, for he ruled over the apostate ten tribes, who worshiped the image of the
beast (the golden calf). Ahab's wife Jezebel (compare Rev 17:1-3 for relationship) is a
clear type of the harlot (Rev 2:20) for she was guilty of the blood of the prophets and of
the saints (1 K 18:4)(ZK 9:7)(Rev 18:24). In Rev 17:16 when the Beast is through using
the harlot he devours her, and so it is with Jezebel (1 K 21:23). The true ministers of
God are fed at the Churches table (1 Cor 9:13,14) and the false prophets (corporately
the false prophet) are fed from Jezebel's table (1 K 18:19). The false prophets of Baal
and the false prophets of the Asherah represent the two horns of the false prophet in
Rev 13:11. Find out who Baal and Asherah represent in modern times and you will
know who the corporate false prophet is. These two go back to the tower of Babel and
were originally Nimrod (Gen 10:8-10) and his wife Semiramis. When Nimrod died and
Semiramis became pregnant she claimed that Nimrod had become the Sun God (Baal)
who then by virgin birth was reborn as her (The Virgin=Asherah) son, Tammuz (Son of
God). Then of course the Babylonian worshiped the false Father, Son and Virgin about
2,300 years before the true Virgin birth. Semiramis probably knew of the prophecy in
Gen 3:15 concerning the virgin birth. At the dispersion at Babel this legend went
throughout the World and these three were given different names in different cultures,
many of which are in the Bible. The golden calf in Egypt was a symbol of the Father
(Baal) in the Son. Pharaoh's title meant Great Temple of the Sun God. Sun images all
over the world and in Catholic and Eastern Churches symbolize the false Son. As we
saw in the previous chapter the Israelites with their golden calf thought they were
worshiping "YHWH" or "Elohim", the true God, but it was Baal, another Jesus. One horn
the 450 prophets of Baal represent those who teach another Jesus. This is the apostate
protestant minister. The other horn is the 400 prophets of the Asherah or those who
worship the virgin. This is the Catholic, Greek Orthodox, Russian Orthodox, Eastern
Orthodox, and many others that are into Mariolatry. Mary is my sister and I love her but
she is not the mother of God. Rom 1:3 says she is the mother of Jesus' flesh which is
"Son of Man". His spiritual man was "Son of God" (Verse 4) and born of God. John 3:6
says "that which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit."
Some would say the two horns are the apostate leaders of the Christian religion and the
leaders of false religions. To this I agree and in the chapter on "The Harlot and the
Beast" I will address the subject of larger and smaller types. The false prophet has
always been the head of the harlot and she sitteth (present tense) on 5 world empires
that are fallen (but still present) that were never Christian (Egypt, Assyria, Babylon,
Media Persia, and Greece). The corporate leadership of all false religion Christian (so
called) or otherwise is the false prophet.

Emperor Constantine was head of the early Roman Empire or beast as Daniel 7:7
describes it. Rome was the great beast devouring all the beasts before it (Verse 23).
Much like the world is today his kingdom was divided because of much religious faction.
Because of Babyl there was to the untrained eye similarities between the pagan
religions and Christianity. In order to unite his empire Constantine decided to capitalize
on these similarities and merge paganism with Christianity. Through the temptations of
bribery and power the backslidden leadership of Christianity gave in. Constantine
gathered together at his round table religious leaders of every set and gave them a
position of authority. This corporate false prophet was to advise him, and exercise
authority over his religious empire. He presided over their councils and put down
individual theological differences for the sake of unity. "That which hath been is that
which shall be" (Ecc 1:9). Our modern day revival of the Roman beast, the United
Nations (see The Harlot and the Beast) has within its body the whole earth (Dan 7:23)
and is doing exactly what Constantine did to unite the earth. The "World Conference on
Religion and Peace" was a gathering together under the U.N. of all sects of religious
leaders from all over the world to bring unity to religion and hopefully the world. This
corporate false prophet with the authority of the U.N. has created a corporate one world
religion called the United Religions (the U.R.). They are due to start operation in June of
2000. I believe this is when the beast shall make a firm covenant with many for one
week (see Daniel's 70th week). Once when I was teaching on the false prophet about 8
years ago a brother came into the meeting who had just received a confirming dream.

Mark W. Dream

I went to church and the altar to get delivered from smoking. There were many people
up front. I knew that the pastor was walking toward me to get away from someone who
smelled like smoke and I thought, "I hope he doesn't come down here because I smell
like smoke too." Just then my sister came to me very happy and said "Oh it's OK now
look over there." I looked over and saw this man light up a cigarette. There were some
booths and a sign that read "smoking section." People said "you don't have to quit
because now we can smoke in church." I said "no, I want to quit smoking" (spiritually
smoking is to partake of an unclean spirit because "breath" and "spirit" come from the
same word in the Old Testament and in the New. Smoke is an unclean breath. "Fallen,
fallen is Babylon the great, and is become a habitation of demons, and a prison [booths]
of every unclean spirit...). Then the scene changed and I saw on T.V. that everyone
was rejoicing because a great agreement had been made to have "one church". I saw
the agreement was two stacks (two horns of the false prophet) of paper but nothing
was written on them (a sign that everyone will drop their doctrinal demands, which in
the case of Christians is truth, in order to have unity [Jude 3,4]). Then I went to this
extremely big church. I couldn't even see the other end of it (obviously the corporate
church). I happened to look in the wrong door and noticed a giant ministers
conference. They were being shown a film on how to scan bar codes on the foreheads
of their congregation with a beam of light(the world) without them knowing it. This is the
corporate two horned false prophet who makes merchandise of the people of God (2
Pet 2:1-3) and the Word of God (2 Cor 2:17 in Greek) and marks those belonging to the
beast in their foreheads (minds Rom 8:5-6)(Rev 13:16). Remember in Jesus' day, the
"respectable" religious folks who walked after the mind of the flesh cast their vote
against him. They were followers of a "respectable" group of ministers who gave them
that mind using the word (light). Remember 10 out of the 12 tribes and their ministers
worshiped the beast (golden calf) and had his mark in their foreheads (mind) and hand
(works). The false prophets are the ones who war against this word the most. It's an
honor to have these against me as they were against my lord Jesus. They protect their
prestige, authority, position and bank account. Draw close to God and his word so you
may be able to recognize them. Dan 3:4,5 says, "Then the herald cried...peoples,
nations, languages... fall down and worship the golden image (of the beast). This word
"herald" is the only Greek word in the text at a time before Greek became a world
language. It is the same word used in the New Testament for preacher. The command
to worship the image (Rev 13:14,15) will come from the pulpits in the form of a
deception so strong that if possible even the elect (Mt 24:24) will be deceived. If the
truth weren't hidden in the parable of Revelation, there would be no strong delusion. In
Dan 3:7 all worshiped the image, even the Israelites except Shadrach, Meshach and
Abednego. These three wouldn't bow because they wouldn't eat of the beast's food
(word) and wine (nature) and be defiled (Dan 1:5-16). If you receive the word and
nature of a Babylonish false prophet you too will be defiled and bow down (Mt 15:6-20).

In Constantine's court there sat the senate, secular rulers over the countries under his
control. These foreshadowed the ten horns in Daniel's vision of the end time Roman
Empire (Dan 7:7). The ten horns that thou sawest are ten kings (end time secular
rulers), who have received no kingdoms as yet, but they receive authority as kings, with
the beast for one hour (Rev 17:12). The horn represents power for it is the weapon of
the beast. A king without his kingdom has no power. These kings gave their kingdom to
the beast (Rev 17:17). From among these kingdoms in Constantine's day arose the
religious rulers. They were different, for they were a corporate body of religious
leaders from among all the kingdoms. This is exactly what Dan 7:8,24) says. The little
horn came "up among" the ten and was "different from the former" because he was a
corporate religious body among leaders of corporate secular bodies. That the little horn
is the false prophet of Rev 13 is easy to see because it had eyes (Dan 7:20) which
makes it a prophet (Isa 29:10). He had "a mouth that spake great things" (Dan 7:20)
and made war on the saints (verse 21). This identifies the false prophet who was given
to the beast in Rev 13:5-7 for the false prophet is the beasts mouth to religious people.
In Jesus' time the corporate false prophet kept the people in line for the beast (Rome)
because of the threat of loss of position (John 11:47,48). It was this corporate false
prophet who was guilty of the blood of Jesus, the Apostles and prophets (Mt 23:29-36).
Pilot, representing the Roman beast, did not want to kill Jesus. This is the way it will be
in our day.

Another type of the little horn was Antiochus Epiphanes in 175-164 B.C.. He came up
among the horns of the division of Alexander the Greats kingdom and was king of Syria
which means "lifted up". I emphasize that this king of the "lifted up" was a type because
many believe that the history of his acts in Daniel are literally speaking of the end time
antichrist. Daniel prophesies what is clearly now history in 8:9-14, 23-26 / 11:21-39
regarding Antiochus, but he is also a type and shadow of what is to come. His
compelling interest was to subject God's people to himself much like the false prophets
of today. He "magnified himself" 8:25 above all the gods of the Harlot and "the one
desired of women" (Dan 11:37 - literal Hebrew=Jesus Isa 4:1, seven women=church
Rev 1:11). He deposed the Jewish high priest Onias 3 and usurped his place. If you
permit a person to exalt themselves or their teaching above Jesus and the scriptures,
they become to you a false prophet. He will even use the word to paint an image in your
mind of a false Jesus (2 Cor 3:18) which is none other that the image of the beast
(spoken of later). Antiochus in his position as "lord of God's heritage" then sacrificed a
sonon the altar and sprinkled the Holy Place with the swines broth. He cast down many
of God's people and caused them to lose their position in the heavenlies like the end
time saints (Dan 8:10 Epe 2:6 Rev 6:13). He took away the continual burnt-offering
(Dan 8:11 11:31) which in the end time will be in the middle of the tribulation or
seventieth week of Daniel (Dan 9:27). We are the sanctuary or temple of God (1 Cor
3:17). Our old life is the continual burnt offering (Rom 12:1) as we take up our cross and
follow Jesus and lose our old life (Mt 16:24,25). It is a burnt offering because in the
midst of the fiery trial (1 Pet 4:12 / Mt 3:11,12) when we obey God the flesh burnsup (2
Cor 4:16,17). When we walk in the sin the burnt offering ceases (Dan 8:12). We are as
gold and silver refined in the fire by burning up the impurities (flesh Mal 3:2,3). A sonis
not a sacrifice "acceptable to God" (Rom 12:1) because it identifies those whose life is
not acceptable. They follow the false prophets and are defiled, turning back to their
sins (2 Pet 2:1-3, 18-22). These are they who give up their life of sacrifice (burnt
offering) in the middle of the tribulation and take the mark of the beast (Rev 13:5-7,
16-18 / Dan 9:27) having been deceived by the false prophets. If you allow the false
prophets to identify the mark of the beast and the image you will not be able to see it
when it comes. The Pharisees and Sadducees could not identify the true Image of God,
Jesus Christ. What makes you think that they could today? It is not the visible Image
and Mark of the beast that you should fear, but the invisible. This is how it can be a
deception. (More later) Antiochus also set up a statue of Jupiter in the Holy of Holies.
He like the little horn of Ahab's day, Jesus' day, Constantine's day, and the U.R. of our
day gives to the people a false Image of God. Even among Christians you will notice
there are different ideas about who Jesus is, what is his nature, what is his teaching,
and what is his attitude toward us. Much of this leads people to worship another Jesus
which is an abomination. Become familiar with the Jesus of the Bible, the true Image of
God (Heb 1:3 / Jn 1:1). The tip of the little horn starts in the leadership of the U.R. but
like Mark W.'s dream shows it goes all the way down to the man in the pulpit. All of them
together are the false prophet the head of the harlot. "Be not many of you teachers, my
brother, knowing that we shall receive the heavier judgment" (James 3:1).
                      Three Lessons from Lakeland
                                 David Servant - 9/14/08

Depending on where you live in the world and what interests you, you may or may not
have some knowledge of the recent revival meetings in Lakeland, Florida, led by
Canadian Todd Bentley. Although tens of thousands from around the world flocked to
Lakeland over a period of four months---mostly due to the reports of physical healings---
the meetings generated considerable controversy due to Bentley's questionable
doctrines, strange angelic encounters, unconventional style, and his exaggerated and
sometimes outright false reports of miracles.

Perhaps the crowning moment of the Lakeland meetings was June 23rd, when a
number of prominent charismatic "apostles" and "prophets" publicly endorsed Bentley's
ministry and the revival he was leading. Charisma magazine, in an article titled, Leaders
Commission Todd Bentley at "Lakeland Outpouring," stated that, "The special service
was billed by leaders as one of the greatest moments in revival history." One well-
known charismatic leader, an "apostle," described that event as "a commissioning
ceremony, complete with decrees and prophecies of going to higher levels, predictions
of Todd’s increasing world-wide influence and leading a world-wide revival, emphatic
and prolific endorsements of his character, etc." Peter Wagner, "presiding apostle" of
the International Coalition of Apostles, was one of those who endorsed Bentley that
evening, publicly stating, “This commissioning represents a powerful spiritual
transaction taking place in the invisible world. With this in mind, I take the apostolic
authority that God has given me and I decree to Todd Bentley, your power will increase,
your authority will increase, your favor will increase, your influence will increase, your
revelation will increase."

Just a few weeks later, however, it became apparent that all those "apostles" and
"prophets" may have made a little mistake. The Lakeland revival, already in decline by
then, unraveled with Bentley's announcement of his plans to divorce his wife and the
revelation of his inappropriate relationship with a woman on his ministry staff. Since
then, it has been learned that those revelations are just the tip of the iceberg.

One lesson we can all learn from Lakeland is that you can toss out the gospel found in
the Bible, kick and punch people who are seeking healing, regularly chat with angels
with names like "Winds of Change" and "Emma," act like a drunken fool, transfer your
anointing so that others can spread these blessings around the globe, repeatedly
exaggerate and lie, gain riches in the process, and be a successful minister in the U.S.
But whatever you do, don't divorce your wife. That could ruin you (at least temporarily).

Pushing all sarcasm aside, I think there are some very valid lessons that can be learned
from Lakeland. I'm going to do my best to be as gracious as I can, which at my current
level of sanctification will not be gracious enough for some. If you think I'm too critical,
my only defense is this: If you knew how critical I was tempted to be, you would be
proud of my self-restraint.
Lesson #1

The first and most important lesson is, "You will know them by their fruits" (Matt. 7:20).
Jesus told His followers this to keep them from being misled by false prophets and
teachers. Read within its immediate context, it is very clear that the kind of fruit Jesus
was speaking of was not the fruit of miracles or supernatural manifestations:

So then, you will know them [false prophets] by their fruits. Not everyone who says to
Me, "Lord, Lord," will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My
Father who is in heaven will enter. Many will say to Me on that day, "Lord, Lord, did we
not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name
perform many miracles?" And then I will declare to them, "I never knew you; depart from
Me, you who practice lawlessness" (Matt. 7:20-23).

This being so, Jesus must have been speaking of the fruit of holiness. Since Jesus'
warning was spoken within the context of His Sermon on the Mount, we are certainly
warranted to judge every minister's life by the standards found there. If Christians would
do that, they would quickly realize that there are thousands of false prophets and
teachers today who have infiltrated the church. I do not exaggerate. Long before the
revelations that ended his revival, those who applied the Matthew 5 through 7 test on
Todd Bentley were not deceived by him.

Additionally, if someone claims to be a minister of Christ, then what he teaches---the
fruit of his lips---should also be scrutinized in the light of Scripture. Those who tested
Todd Bentley's teachings with Scripture were not misled by him.

Many who were troubled by certain things they heard and witnessed at the Lakeland
meetings convinced themselves to overlook them, assuming that the healings were
proof of God's blessing and approbation. But Jesus solemnly warned that there will be
people who will prophesy, cast out demons and work miracles---all in His name---who
will hear Him say, "I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness."
Does this have any application to Todd Bentley? Blushing Peter Wagner (who led the
June 23rd endorsement of Bentley) recently wrote to his constituency:

Todd Bentley now carries the label of a liar and a deceiver....Todd has been removed
from public ministry until further notice...It has become clear that he indulged in periodic
drunkenness. He has no intention at the moment of reconciling with Shonna [his wife],
nor does she with him. Their marriage has been torn for years by his emotional
attachment with at least one other female whose physical contact went beyond hugging
and kissing and holding hands. Enough said---maybe more details will be revealed
later---but it was clearly immoral. All of this was skillfully concealed by lying and by
swearing close associates who had observed his behavior to secrecy.

According to the Bible that every Christian owns, no drunkard or immoral person will
inherit eternal life, and all liars will find themselves in the Lake of Fire (see 1 Cor. 6:9-
10; Gal. 5:19-21; Eph. 5:5; Rev. 21:8). Unless Todd Bentley repents and is truly born
again, he will be condemned at his judgment. But for now, he has been exposed to
everyone as a wolf in sheep's clothing. Sadly, he will be considered by many to be an
anointed prophet with some personal issues who needs counseling before he is
restored once again to his anointed ministry, in spite of what the Bible clearly teaches.
This is tragic, and is only one more symptom of a much greater problem.

In any case, don't be misled by miracles. The antichrist will perform miracles, and that is
one reason the whole world will go after him. Look for holiness and obedience to Jesus'
commandments.

Lesson #2

A second lesson we can learn from Lakeland relates to the first. Since we should not
judge the validity of a minister or a meeting by miracles and supernatural
manifestations, can we thus conclude that every healing is of satanic origin that occurs
under the ministry of a someone whose fruit betrays him as being a false prophet? As
strange as it seems, the answer is "no." Here's the reason why: God honors His word,
and if He makes conditional promises, He will keep His promises to anyone who meets
His conditions, regardless of anything else.

For example, it is theoretically possible that a man could be genuinely born again in a
porn shop if he happened to read a gospel tract that was placed there. But because he
was born again in a porn shop, does that mean that God approves of everything (or
anything, for that matter) that goes on there? Obviously not.

By the same token, no one can deny that Jesus often told people whom He healed that
their faith healed them. And He made quite a few amazing promises that can certainly
be applied by those needing healing today. That being so, here is another question: If a
person gains faith to be healed in a meeting directed by a false prophet, will God deny
that person his healing for that reason? Certainly not.

Clearly, one of the main emphases of the Lakeland meetings was divine healing. Many
came for that reason (and many left the meetings very disappointed). Sadly, Bentley
used lies and exaggerated reports to build the faith of those who came seeking healing.
Nevertheless, some apparently had their faith encouraged and God healed them in
response to their faith. But those healing miracles were in no way a sign from God that
He was endorsing the messenger or anything else that occurred at the Lakeland
meetings. He was only honoring His promises---and nothing more.

One important addendum can be added to this second lesson.

If you are a truly God-called evangelist, it should bring you great joy to know that if God
will honor His Word spoken through a false prophet, then He will certainly honor it if
spoken through a true prophet! How tragic it is that, while false prophets sometimes use
God's Word to birth miracle-producing faith in people whom they then exploit, many of
God's true prophets keep quiet about divine healing. Perhaps they do so in order not to
be associated with the Todd Bentleys of the world today. I'm happy to report, however,
that there are thousands and thousands of genuine God-called evangelists around the
world who incorporate some degree of biblical and divine healing in their ministries.
They know what a valuable tool it is in helping them reach the lost with the gospel.
Divine healing draws people to listen to the gospel.

That being so, if you are a genuine God-called evangelist---who proclaims a biblical
gospel that calls people to repentance and a living faith---you have biblical reason to
expect that divine healing should be a part of your ministry. If you don't believe me, read
the book of Acts. An evangelist without the component of divine healing in his ministry is
like a carpenter without a hammer. He's missing a tool that could make him much more
successful.

Actually, divine healing is not something that is just limited to the ministries of genuine
evangelists. Jesus told us that one sign that will follow those who believe in Him is that
they will "lay hands on the sick, and they will recover" (Mark 16:18). When I was in
Nepal earlier this year, I heard from several reliable sources that the amazing growth of
Christianity in that Hindu nation has been due in large part to believers healing the sick.
It has become common belief in Nepal that, if you, or even one of your animals is sick,
the thing to do is call for a Christian to come and pray. God has honored His promise to
those who have taken Him at His Word. So let's all give ourselves a self-administered
kick in the rear in this regard and start laying hands on the sick and asking God to heal
them. Let's not shrink back from this only because of a few Todd Bentleys.

Lesson #3

The third and final lesson is this: "Whoever exalts himself shall be humbled, and
whoever humbles himself shall be exalted." This is a promise from God (see Matt.
23:12)

It was obviously not God who exalted Todd Bentley, because God doesn't exalt to
leadership positions within the body of Christ immoral, drunken deceivers who exalt
their imaginations above His Word. It was Todd Bentley who exalted himself by various
means of deception and with the help of others whom he deceived. But God is faithful to
His promises. He has certainly humbled Bentley before those who adored him, deplored
him, or ignored him. We pray that his humiliation leads to his repentance.

But Todd Bentley was not the only self-exalted minister whom God has recently
humbled. Everyone who stood on the platform on June 23rd to commission Todd
Bentley is included in that list, and especially those who claimed to speak for God as
they prophesied of the ever-increasing glories of the Lakeland "revival" and Bentley's
ministry. Some are now trying to save face as they back-peddle before their contributing
constituents, but they are only losing their credibility to an even greater degree.

What is the motive of those whom God has not called to be apostles or prophets yet
who claim to be apostles and prophets? It can only be pride and self-exaltation. For this
reason, thousands of ministers in North America and elsewhere are seeking titles and
joining organizations like the International Coalition of Apostles (where membership
dues are $650 per year). They want recognition, and so they play a more subtle version
of the child's game King of the Hill. It wasn't too long ago that these self-promoters were
vying only for the title of "bishop."

While the Bible makes it clear that apostles are God-called and God-sent persons who
make disciples and plant churches by the power of the Holy Spirit, so many of modern
"apostles" have never planted a single church. But they want to have authority over
churches in order to gain wealth and notoriety, and calling yourself an apostle seems to
be the first step in finding gullible pastors who will become a part of your "down-line."
May God have mercy.

Gentlemen, if any of you are reading this, the way to avoid further humiliation and
ultimate humiliation when you stand before Christ is to humble yourself, remembering
that "whoever wishes to become great among you shall be your servant" (Matt. 20:26).
God has sent all of you a merciful warning by means of the recent public humiliation of
Todd Bentley and the self-anointed "apostles" and "prophets" who publicly endorsed
him. You can back-peddle all you want; the fact remains that you publicly endorsed as a
man of God a wolf in sheep's clothing. There were many more who are guilty of this
besides just those of you who stood on the platform with Todd Bentley on June 23rd.
Those who exalt themselves God will humble. In fact, as so many of you have
exchanged His truth for lies---hoping to gain notoriety among your peers by your "new
revelations"---God has already been publicly humiliating you before multitudes of
people.

"How so," you ask? God is allowing many of you to become deceived to a degree that is
almost unimaginable to the saints (and the world). What so many of you believe and
teach is so far from being biblical that it can only be classed as deluded mysticism: Gold
dust and "Holy Spirit feathers" falling upon your followers. Gold fillings appearing in their
teeth. "Third heaven visualizations." Drunken jerking. "Spiritual Mapping." "Heavenly
portals," "star gates" and "open heavens." "Trance dancing." "Holy Ghost parties."
Pyramid prosperity schemes. The "presence movement."

Your bizarre doctrines and practices make you appear to be absolute dunderheads, and
you don't even realize it. We are embarrassed for you! Is it possible that, as God
humbled proud Nebuchadnezzar by giving him the mind of a beast, you are under a
similar judgment? While you bask in the awe of your thousands of gullible admirers,
millions sadly shake their heads at you. And it appears that you have become deluded
beyond any hope of return. You have made a mockery of God's Word with your myths
and now He is making a mockery of you before the world. You have become so
supernaturally imbecilic that you are completely blind to it. You have become a terrifying
object lesson to any who would exalt themselves and dare to discard God's Word in
favor of their own imaginations.
I will leave my readers with just one small sample of what I'm speaking. Below is an
advertisement found in a recent email newsletter of one of the three primary leaders of
the 500 "apostles" who currently are members of the International Coalition of Apostles,
a "prophet" and "apostle" named Chuck Pierce. Along with Peter Wagner, he believes
that (and I quote) "the Second Apostolic Age began roughly in 2001, heralding the most
radical change in the way of doing church at least since the Protestant Reformation"
(from the ICA website).

Here is that ad:

RESOURCES TO HELP IGNITE YOU IN A NEW WAY

Be Revived Anointing Oil and Candle Set

Revival is in earth's atmosphere! Because the
anointing breaks the yoke, we have sought the Lord
on the ingredients needed for a revival fire anointing
oil and candle. The first aspect of Revived is
"awakening". We use costmary, an herb used by the
colonists to stay alert and awake. The second
                                  ingredient we incorporate is pomegranate,
representing healing, overcoming and prosperity. The
third ingredient is "harvest". This is a mixture of the
seven species of Israel which represent the fullness
of unlocking the harvest fields. There is a boldness
that God is bringing on His people to pray over
others. We must come alive and be bold witnesses in
this hour. Be revived and use this oil to "break the
yoke" as you minister to others. Roll-on Anointing
                                  Oil $10; Candle: $12; Roll-on Anointing Oil +
                                  Candle: $20.

minute 44 of this 52-minute video. You'll hear some of his strange prophetic utterances.
To even begin to remotely understand the concept of "singing with the planets,"
however, you'll have to watch the entire video.

Incidentally, as favorably reported by Peter Wagner, that special "Be Revived" oil is
what was used to anoint Todd Bentley by the "apostles" at his commissioning ceremony
on June 23rd. When he was touched with that special anointing oil, Bentley "went down
under the power," and "the power of the Holy Spirit was so heavy on that event that you
could have cut it with a knife!" reported Wagner. Two days later in Lakeland, celebrated
"apostle" Che' Ahn used that same special oil to personally anoint the 1,000 or so
pastors who were present to be “carriers of the fire” to their churches. Forty-seven
nations were represented in that meeting. Wagner also recently reported that, although
"Lakeland 1" is over, "Lakeland 2" has just begun.

                                Trial of Dreams
                                     David Eells - 10/08/07
During a walk around a few blocks in late September of 2007 it was warm but a strong
cool breeze kept blowing in my face so much that I could hear that muffled sound in my
ears. I looked at the bushes and trees around me and not a leaf was moving so I knew
something supernatural was happening and began to question and listen to the Lord. I
got a strong impression that the Lord was trying His people concerning dreams of
coming judgment in a way they didn’t realize.
That night as I asked the Lord more about this I heard how we were being tried. When
God's people hear a dream of a coming judgment and in turn report this to others some
of them are anxious to see it come to pass to prove they are who they say they are.
They want to prove to family and friends that they are hearing from God so that they will
listen to them concerning the things to come. When it doesn’t come to pass as they
think it should, usually in the letter, they are angry at the dreamer or God. Nevermind
that they were totally unworried about the thousands or millions who would have been
affected by the catastrophe. This was the sin that Jonah was proven to be in when his
prophecy failed to come to pass. {Jonah 4:1} But it displeased Jonah exceedingly,
and he was angry. {2} And he prayed unto Jehovah, and said, I pray thee, O
Jehovah, was not this my saying, when I was yet in my country? Therefore I
hasted to flee unto Tarshish; for I knew that thou art a gracious God, and
merciful, slow to anger, and abundant in lovingkindness, and repentest thee of
the evil. {3} Therefore now, O Jehovah, take, I beseech thee, my life from me; for it
is better for me to die than to live. {4} And Jehovah said, Doest thou well to be
angry? {5} Then Jonah went out of the city, and sat on the east side of the city,
and there made him a booth, and sat under it in the shade, till he might see what
would become of the city. {6} And Jehovah God prepared a gourd, and made it to
come up over Jonah, that it might be a shade over his head, to deliver him from
his evil case. So Jonah was exceeding glad because of the gourd. {7} But God
prepared a worm when the morning rose the next day, and it smote the gourd,
that it withered. {8} And it came to pass, when the sun arose, that God prepared a
sultry east wind; and the sun beat upon the head of Jonah, that he fainted, and
requested for himself that he might die, and said, It is better for me to die than to
live. {9} And God said to Jonah, Doest thou well to be angry for the gourd? And
he said, I do well to be angry, even unto death. {10} And Jehovah said, Thou hast
had regard for the gourd, for which thou hast not labored, neither madest it grow;
which came up in a night, and perished in a night: {11} and should not I have
regard for Nineveh, that great city, wherein are more than sixscore thousand
persons that cannot discern between their right hand and their left hand; and also
much cattle? Jonah's sin in God's eyes was that he would rather spare himself the
embarrassment of being called a false prophet than have God spare the 120,000
ignorant people's lives. God knew the prophecy wasn’t going to come to pass when He
gave it to Jonah but He was trying his heart to prove to him what was inside. Many
others are failing in this same way. Jesus sacrificed Himself so others might live but this
heart wasn’t in Jonah nor is it in many today. When I saw that night that God was
indeed trying our hearts I began to pray for God's mercy on America concerning the
judgment being now. {James 2:13} For judgment [is] without mercy to him that hath
showed no mercy: mercy glorieth against judgment. I know that the judgment is
coming soon but I wanted to overcome in the trial. I asked God to grant repentance and
revival by a sovereign act of His will rather than a beating, which He has done before.
Others are being tried in this thing because they want to see the dreams fail in order to
disprove the righteous whom their competitive spirit seeks to best. Their critical spirit
only seeks to lift themselves up by putting others down. Their favorite way of doing this
is to judge them according to the Law. But when they judge according to the Law they
will be judged that way. "Be not deceived; whatsoever a man sows so shall he reap."
“With what measure ye mete, it shall be measured unto you again.” There is no
example in our covenant for them to judge Christians for a prophecy that fails, much
less a dream that fails. You will notice that even false prophets in the New Testament
are judged for their corrupt lives and doctrines and not their prophecies. The reason for
this is simple: God does not want His people who are taking baby steps in the gifts to be
stifled by using the New Testament to judge them. Instead he wants them to learn from
their experiences and grow in their gift.
We are told to discern prophecies, not judge those who prophesy. {1Cor.14:29} And let
the prophets speak [by] two or three, and let the others discern. If Jesus under
grace showed the foolishness of judging the woman taken in adultery who had sinned,
what would He say of those who would judge those who have not sinned? False
prophecy, which a dream is not, was judged under the Law like adultery was. {Jn.8:3}
And the scribes and the Pharisees bring a woman taken in adultery; and having
set her in the midst, {4} they say unto him, Teacher, this woman hath been taken
in adultery, in the very act. {5} Now in the law Moses commanded us to stone
such: what then sayest thou of her? {6} And this they said, trying him, that they
might have [whereof] to accuse him. But Jesus stooped down, and with his finger
wrote on the ground. {7} But when they continued asking him, he lifted up
himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a
stone at her. {8} And again he stooped down, and with his finger wrote on the
ground. {9} And they, when they heard it, went out one by one, beginning from
the eldest, [even] unto the last: and Jesus was left alone, and the woman, where
she was, in the midst. {10} And Jesus lifted up himself, and said unto her,
Woman, where are they? did no man condemn thee? {11} And she said, No man,
Lord. And Jesus said, Neither do I condemn thee: go thy way; from henceforth
sin no more. {12} Again therefore Jesus spake unto them, saying, I am the light of
the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in the darkness, but shall have the
light of life. Even the Pharisees had better sense than some people today. Notice the
more mature they were the quicker they realized that they had better not judge or they
would be judged. Some of these people today have been judged already and are left
captive to Babylon because of their self-righteousness. Like the charging rhinoceros in a
recent dream I had and like Judas they will not escape as those whom they judge will.
We have no example to judge anyone in our covenant when their dream doesn’t come
to pass in the letter as we suppose. A Prophet in the Old Testament was judged harshly
because they were under the law and the power of their gift was very exact. Every letter
in the OT had a numeric pattern. One who prophesies or dreams is almost never a
prophet and in the NT; even if they were they are not judged under the Law.
I have run into good people who have dreamed things that did not come to pass.
Occasionally I have discovered these to have spirits that were passed down from former
lives (old sinful lives, not reincarnation) or relatives. This does not condemn the person
for we were delivered out of the power of darkness as Col. 1:13 says and as we walk
out our life these spirits are discovered, rejected and dealt with. One who condemns
those walking in the light that they have is condemned themselves and always falls
away even when they appear righteous and in control like the Pharisees.
I have run into good people who in their attempts to step out by faith in a gift prophesied
things that did not come to pass. When I was about a year old in the Lord I claimed the
gift of prophecy by faith and commenced to prophesy what I later learned were just
thoughts of my mind. Then along came a true prophecy through me and I suddenly
knew the difference. I said to myself, “Oh, this is prophecy.” God was merciful in helping
me to understand that He hadn’t chosen that gift for me. I have rarely prophesied since
because it is not a main gift that God chose for me. I have never known a word of
knowledge or wisdom or a dream that has been given to me to be inaccurate. Many are
for teaching purposes and are more informative and accurate than prophecies I have
heard. So now I am not quick to judge those who do not have the office of prophet or
even one who prophesies or dreams and I have learned not to judge according to the
Law. We grow up by God’s grace and when we are a child we "prophesy in part" until
we mature with the gift, as Paul said in 1 Cor.13: 9-11.
